I was definitely underwhelmed. The guide brought his girlfriend and their dog and the dog was distracting. It’s more gimmicky than I expected… the dungeons were full of plastic skeletons and nothing that felt even remotely authentic. Only got told a couple of legends.

We had a really good time. Clara the guide was so lovely chatty and very knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend the tour.

We had a great time with Clara S. We were lucky to have her as our guide, she was amazing & deserves a pay rise.
Only downside was we didn’t have any cash to give her a tip! Take cash with you as you will want to reward her. Thanks Clara S x

The tour was super exciting! Michael was a great tour guide, very personable and humorous and told the stories and legends in a very entertaining way. I can only recommend the tour!!! You have to do it if you are in Prague!

The tour asks participants to arrive 10 minutes early to exchange tickets which we did. Then our guide, Clara S., was 15 minutes late, which meant we waited 25 minutes just standing around. Not a good way to start the tour. She was energetic and dramatic, which was kind of fun. However, the tour itself was not very compelling. There was no “historical” mystery and the murder tales seemed like random made up stories. She did tell us a few stories about ghosts, but they did not really seem to tie into the places we visited. Sometimes we would just stop so she could tell a joke. At one point she just screamed into the room. The underground “dungeons” that we toured were basically underground basement rooms with Halloween props spread throughout them which cheapened the effect. The information on torture devices was interesting. I have participated in many of these types of tours and this one just seemed disjointed, more bad jokes and less history, and campy.

We did the evening underground Prague tour, the one linked to ghost stories. Our guide Clara S. was an excellent storyteller and actress. He fit the part like a glove. He told us about legends and ghosts and took us into the basement to discover laboratories and torture instruments. It was a nice discovery. The tour was in English.

The ghosts, legends, and underground tour I went on had a bit of everything, from ghost stories to interesting historical facts. Our guide, Clara S, went above and beyond and added a performance element to the tour that blended perfectly with its subject matter. Would highly recommend.

Sort but we didn’t understand the tour guide even though I’m a native English speaker. I would suggest using guides with a better accent. Also you should have cancelled the tour in rainy weather. Was not enjoyable.
