Really incredible tour of the sacred valley! Perfect if you would like to go at a little slower pace with a smaller group and really get a chance to experience the history of the sacred valley! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and even took us to a few little-know spots within the valley so we could get away from the crowds! Cannot recommend enough.

The tour was wonderful, our tour guide, Alex, was great, kind, and knowledge about the ruins! Personally the climb up Ollantaytambo was intense but probably cause I am out of shape, once up there the views were gorgeous and worth the mild heart attack! I was with my husband and 7 year old son, and he definitely enjoyed the views. The Alpaca farm was cool and the products are great but it’s definitely meant so you can buy the well made baby alpaca products. I think the prices were great for the garments we got. I kinda of wish we could have spent more time with the native woman that dyes the materials, but that was cut short so they could show us the garments. The Pisac market was big and there were so many things to buy. Alex was also great at telling us about being aware of fakes or low quality products in the markets, the importance or bartering and haggling for the products of up to 30-40 %, which was nice to know! The lunch was good as well.
The views were definitely breathtaking when we made our stop. The return to Cuzco after the tour was great since we took a different path than when we started.
Let me also give a shoutout to our driver on thr tour!

Olllataytambo was magnificent, the sun temple was the biggest highlight. Also very much enjoyed the alpaca/yarn tour and shopping in Pisac. However our opinion is that lunch should not be last on the schedule—we didn’t get to lunch until 3. Perhaps eat before entering the ruins.

Adriel was the BEST tour guide! He was passionate, energetic, informative and had many personal stories to share. I learned so much on this tour and highly enjoyed our short walks at Pisaq and Ollantaytambo. There was ample time for shopping, but it also didn’t stretch on for too long if you weren’t interested. I highly recommend this full day tour.

Luis was a fantastic tour guide and he had a great driver. I was the only English speaking participant but Luis gave me just as much attention as he did to his Spanish speaking tourists. We were given plenty of exploration time at each stop. And Luis provided in depth explanation of history. Felt I really learned a lot from him. Lunch was a buffet that had a great selection. The pork belly was very good. Didn’t care for the stop at the alpaca site. It was a little touristy and it was an attempt to get us to buy stuff. When in Pisaq, I didn’t care for the jewelry store demo. And I recommend when given free time to explore the town of Pisaq, skip the market and head up to the mountain for a hike in the ridges. You have to pay s/10 to enter. Luis was very accommodating when we were delayed getting home by a parade in one of the villages and I couldn’t wait until we returned to Cusco to use the bathroom. Don’t forget to bring your own supply of tissue and hand sanitizer. Bring snacks and bottled water. You can leave things in the van. I recommend on booking any tours that has Luis as the guide. He makes it the best experience.

Abton was a great guide, provided a lot of great information. Pisac and Ollantaytambo were fabulous. We had a private guided tour and it was well worth the price.

Once again, after a great Machu Picchu trip, Viator did an amazing job with this tour too. My special compliments and appreciation for our tour guide Julio Eacalante. He is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and very kind. He made sure all the people in our group were together and never left behind. He went out of the way to make this trip wonderful for us. All the sites covered in this trip were great. The restaurant where we stopped for lunch was also very beautiful with great food. Overall, this was a great trip.

After 2 days of this tour, I ran into Julio again in the Cusco Cathedral where he was leading a city tour. I felt like I was meeting an old friend again.

This was a very well-rounded and well-paced tour! Pisac and Ollantaytanbo were stunning, and Aldo provided us with plenty of interesting useful information. The included buffet was also delicious and featured a range of Peruvian food that I hadn't been able to try yet. I would also recommend staying on to visit Chinchero if you have the option, it was fascinating and enlightening to see the work that goes into putting together gorgeous alpaca wool products.
