One of Bali’s iconic temples that sits on the lake of Beratan, the Ulun Danu Beratan temple is located on the highlands of the famous Bedugul regency in north Bali. Because of the temple’s location on top of a lake, the temple itself is actually used for offering ceremonies for the goddess of water, lakes and rivers, known as Dewi Danu. Therefore, Lake Beratan is one of the important lakes in Bali in terms of irrigation, especially in the rice fields and plantations. Things to do here are a paddle boat ride, a guided tour on a canoe, and sightseeing the mountain view.

Another Bali’s iconic temple makes it in the UNESCO World Heritage list in 2002 is the Taman Ayun Royal Temple. The temple itself was built by the former King of Mengwi regency in 1634 AD. What’s unique about this temple is there’s a curved cliff shape like a bridge that connects the temple with the mainland. Underneath, there is a small cave where several sea snakes are placed. Thus, these are holy snakes assigned as the guardian of the temple. Things to do includes a spiritual journey, enjoying the beach and sunset view.

The three temples and rice field were excellent. If you want drivers to take you from location to location with little or no commentary this is the tour for you. Our excellent drivers Yuda and Madu wera were professional, patient, and answered all questions. Main tour operator could improve on communication with guests beforehand.

Dewa was my driver and my tour guide. He safely picked me up and dropped me off.

He is very talkative during the ride and when visiting the sights. He speaks English and explains anything you want to know very well.

I’d recommend this trip. It was fun.

The tour schedule and route is perfect for a day to explore some of the main temples of Bali. But what made our tour to an amazing experience was Tole, our driver & guide. His knowledge about the island, culture, history is impressive. We really enjoyed the drive with him, he is an experienced driver too. His humor made the day just much better. Best man, we are happy to met him and hope to see him again in the future.

Nova, our driver, gave us a very nice day. He accommodated all of our wishes. Our seven-year-old son also had a lot of fun on this tour. Nova was not pushy at all, but very helpful and friendly.
The tour itself included many sights in Bali and is definitely recommended.
