The tour is also recommended to people who are not native English speakers. Steven had a good speaking rate and used words easily to understand. Thus, we instantly booked a second tour “Soho, little Italy and Chinatown” hoping Steve is to be our guide again :-)

The tour was very interesting, but also exhausting, as we were standing the whole time. Apart from that, Steve gave us a lot of background information about Hudson Yards and the start of the High Line.

First of all our guide Justin was great. His knowledge of the history of the Hudson yards from the beginning to what the future might be there was impressive. The only thing that was disappointing was that the vessel was not opened at this time. But then I’ll have to go back to see it in the future.

This tour is mistitled. There was minimal touring of the High Line so that was disappointing. Additionally, our tour leader was very opinionated about social issues & made multiple negative comments about adjacent state. The participants of the tour were from around the world. What must have they been thinking about America? He was not knowledgable about architecture - just provided some historical background of Hudson Yards. Minimal touring & info.

No one ever showed up. And then the person in charge sent an email an hour later giving us our vouchers! We had already left! We want our money back
