After a harrowing taxi ride from JFK into the city, we decided to spend a little more money for the return trip and it was well worth it. Our driver, Antoine, was punctual, polite and a great conversationalist. He shared some interesting history about Manhattan and took a route through Flushing that got us to JFK in plenty of time.

Today I was supposed to be picked up at Marriott Marquis in Manhattan. The driver called a 7:55 to say she was on the street to pick my family up. The driver did not speak good English so I had a hard time understanding her, I let my husband talk to the driver and he couldn’t understand her. I called the company and someone called me back to describe the car that was there to pick me up and we still didn’t find the driver. We walked around the the hotel 5 times and the driver was not at the hotel. I had to catch a taxi to the airport so I could be on time to catch my flight. When I called the company to ask for a refund they said I was a no show. I had to keep calling over 10 times because someone kept hanging up on me once I said refund. I called the company at 7:40 a.m. to find out where the driver was and they said she would call me for my 8:00 a.m. pick up. She called but couldn’t communicate where she was for the pickup. My hotel has a front entrance so I’m not sure why she didn’t use it.

Never use Go Airlink NYC private car service!!!! We pre-paid double what it costs for an Uber to ensure we had a car ready to pick us up at Newark airport when we arrived. This was to ensure a smooth arrival into the city given our long journey from South Africa with many bags and a 3-year old toddler. Not only was the car not available, there is no help desk. We were advised to call a helpline where I was placed on hold for about 10 minutes before speaking to a dispatcher. The dispatcher advised us the car would arrive in 5-7 minutes. We waited on the curb for over 30 minutes and no car arrived. The services is unreliable and incredibly inconvenient - details of the car picking you up are not shared in advance. We ended up calling an Uber which cost half the price and was infinitely more convenient. We will never use this service and would not recommend this service to anyone.

I have so many ticket ID #'s, and so many emails where they say they are working on my refund. Please, just refund me my money! I paid for a service that you failed to provide, therefore you have to return my money to me.
A group of 9 of us were left stranded at our Manhattan hotel waiting for our scheduled shuttle to EWR. Earlier in the day we had rec'd a vm from 'Leon', who I assume was going to be our driver, and he said that he was in CT and wouldn't be back in time for the pickup, but would have dispatch get us another driver. At our scheduled pick up time, No driver came. We called and they promised us a pickup in 20 minutes. No driver came. We called again, another promise of a pickup. No driver came. We were out of time by now and had to squeeze all 9 of us into an Uber & a city taxi, and pay for our transfer again!!

I placed the order two months before for a transfer 8 people from/to JFK - WTC for 500 USD.
I Supplied info about Flights (both), hours, pick location (WTC just out WTC station).
The day before, you called me and I re-confermed, timing and flight.
Nevertheless, we wait for shuttle about 30min at the arrive and 30min to go back.
I hoped there would be no problems on the way back but as I told you, we waited for 30 mins !
One of us , took the Subway+AirTrain (from WTC) when we were waiting for shuttle and arrived just 10min after us !!
This is the first and probably the last time we use your service.

we booked a private car from our Central Park hotel to JFK.

our car was booked for 8 am.

8.10am - there was still no sign of the car. our doorman at the hotel helped us call GoAirlink. Dispatch told us the driver was already at the hotel?!! our doorman ran down the road to check. no car in sight.

8.20am- we called GoAirlink again. This time the driver was put through directly with us and he was shouting that he was on the way and complaining about accidents on the road. no apologies.

At 8.30am we would have cancelled the booking but we had already pre-paid. Despatch was not helpful and the driver continued to insist he’s around the corner.

around 8.35-8.40 am the car finally showed up. The driver was not apologetic for making us wait . Instead, he was complaining about traffic and making excuses about leaving his house early and it’s not his fault. He was so rude that even our doorman told him off and said that the least the driver could have done was first apologise to us for the stress of waiting 35 mins when we have an international flight to catch. to which the driver said - no problem. we only need 40 mins to clear customs?!!!

we paid USD143 for the ride, which was inclusive of all tolls, taxes, gratuity. there was supposed to be a “meet and greet” service - what we got was a rude driver and an uncomfortable overpriced ride. we were told that a yellow cab would have cost $65 and our hotel car $95

Will never use this company again. There are much better options in NYC.

I booked a private transfer from the airport to hotel and exactly the same again for the return journey. All booked and paid for before arriving in NYC. The journey from the airport to Manhattan was good; he was late due to traffic BUT the car was what I ordered and he was very apologetic and very pleasant during the trip so I was happy to let that go.

However on the RETURN trip; we were picked up in a shared van even though I had booked a private SUV with a direct transfer to the hotel. The van again was 30 minutes late and I spent the majority of our ride to the airport on the phone to customer services getting absolutely no where. They could see that we should be in a private SUV as per my order but couldn’t understand why we were in a shared van.

I arrived at the airport and finally I thought I had reached someone that was going to help, I cannot believe I was so gullible. He said “it is our mistake, we are genuinely so sorry that this has happened and we would like to organise a refund for the return journey. Enjoy your flight home and we will call you to arrange once you’re home.” Well what a mug I was and how conniving of the operator. I still have NOT received a phone call or a refund - I am disgusted by the treatment we have been shown from the company and that absolute deliberate “mistake” so that they can make as much money as possible.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE - do not give them any more money!!!!
