Vinicunca, also called “The Mountain of 7 Colors” or Rainbow Mountain Peru. It is a new tourist attraction near Cusco, Peru, located in the province of Quispicanchis. Forgotten by everyone until a few years ago, it has now become very popular. And the best part is that you can visit it in one day. According to locals, this mountain and the surrounding ones were covered with snow a few decades ago, and because of global warming, the snow has disappeared leaving them exposed and showing us an incredible view, and not just the view of the mountains, but also the Apu Ausangate, Cusco’s highest snowy peak.

Everything spectacular. The schedule was very well planned and the guide Omar was always with us. The walk is hard but it is worth getting there and having that spectacular view. Totally recommended infocusco, they are with you before, during and after the tour. The maximum.

An excursion as impressive as it was demanding, although the InfoCusco guide made the experience very easy.

I actually did 6 tours with InfoCusco and it was very pleasant and professional attention. I went from Mexico and before arriving they offered me a series of alternatives, which when I arrived, were finalized and recommended to me in such a way that I would acclimatize to Cusco. Vanessa Ccanto was the one who assisted me, and believe me, she was a very good executive and an excellent human being. Always ready to provide me with attention, support and be aware of my stay. Likewise, she supported me with Machu Picchu, she was responsible for making one of my great dreams come true in a magical and exceptional way, she took care of each of the details and I didn't have to worry about anything. Regarding prices, I can say that before going I quoted with some other agencies, and InfoCusco's competitiveness was better. I greatly appreciate the attention provided.

Surviving inca classic trek with arthritic knee problems was a great adventure with the excellent service of info Cusco tours and hotels a local company. Elvis our guide was efficient. He was professional. He was briefing us in detail every part of the way of the trail. He was patient and he understands our pace of walking. His timing was right making sure we get to the campsite before dark. We learned a lot from him about history of the Inka empire, the ruins, and the flora and fauna of the Inka trail. The trail has varied flowers, plants, and animals to see. Elvis helped us identify them. He can be funny at times and encouraging when we needed a little push. We were comfortable having him as our guide and that made the difference.
Elvin our mountain trek chef culinary was impressive. Presentation of food was a show of art to the last meal. We appreciate the variation of food and options provided but carrying it all to mountains is backbreaking. Elvin culinary skills and preparedness made eating on the Inka trail memorable. We miss his gourmet cooking already. I recommend him to any restauranteur without hesitation.
The porters are our real heroes of of theInka trail and in our trek. They are the carriers of our loads that makes everything possible in the mountains to survive. They are ver hardworking, eager to help, and still wear smiles at the end of the day. We have great respect for what the porters endure to make gruelling Inka trek a lifetime memorable experience. Salute to all porters. They are worth and deserving of tips at the end of their task.
Another good service we like about info Cusco tour is the fluid transfer of information from their office to hotels, drivers, tranfers and little details to make trek to completion efficient saving time and money. Not to forget drivers were helpful.

We were so lucky to have find Info Cusco.. they answer quickly and in detail our questions.
We were the first group of the season 2017, we were around 26 people including guides porters and guides. Santos and Henry, our local guides were dedicated to us 24 hr. They had great stories about the trail, the Incas and lessons about life.
The Cooker, Epifanio, was an artist.. With his team, they prepared for us typical Peruvian dishes, all decorated with the most exquisite figures made from apple, carrots, etc. The last day, was a special dessert that I´m not going to tell you, is a surprise that you need to discover.
Definitely, choosing Info Cusco was a great decision. it made the Inca Trail the most exiting experience I ever had doing a trail

This is the agency that you are looking for. The service is far from great, it's amazing. Vanessa is A+++ she will take care of everything during the reservation, ask anything she will respond quickly with the right answer. I bother her since January to probably the day before arriving to Cusco (September).

I did the classic inca trail plus two more guide tours; City tour and Valle Sagrado, I do recommend both. Every day in the morning was someone at my Hotel (Loreto Boutique; stay here you will love it) waiting for me to guide me to the meet spot for the tour.

The Inca Trail, the only thing I am going to say (not spoiled) is that you will be treated like a King and Queen. Obviously you have to walk and do some effort to meet the goals every day and the restroom probably are messy for you but there is something special that you will love apart of the trail and the views. Trust me you will love to go with this agency, just trust me you will remember during your Inca Trail.

This agency is operated by locals it means they know what they are doing. Forget about the others ones this is what you are looking for. Trust me.

My mom and I used InfoCusco to hike for 4 days on the Inca Trail ending at Machu Picchu and it was an incredible experience! One of the best things we liked about the company is that they keep their groups small. We noticed other guides with 15-20 clients and they were spread out all over the trail. However, there was only 6 of us in our group so we stuck together and cheered each other on when the climb got tough. It was much more fun to have that kind of support. The food was also amazing! Every meal seemed to have 3 courses and each plate was delicious. And our guide was outstanding. He would give us background on every ruin we passed, including Machu Picchu. When you look at everything you're getting for the price this company charges, it is a bargain! Friends of mine recommended this company to me and I would recommend using them as well, especially if you can get Elvis as your guide.

The representative from InfoCusco Wilder was very helpful. He met with me at the hotel and started my first day tour. First day tour was very good. The gentleman was very knowledgeable and explained lots of history about Cusco to us; Second day was not too good. The guide didn't really explain where we were going and we stopped at so many shopping places (which personally I thought we could had spent more time on main attractions and local markets); Third day was very good, our guide explained all the way through our Machuu Picchu tour and the weather was quite nice. Overall, I enjoyed the company with the rest of the tourists.

If you're planning on doing the Camino Inca, have no doubts about having Infocusco take care of your trip. From the first time we contacted them (about six months before our trip) to the day before our hike began, they answered all of our emails within a couple of hours; sometimes immediately. That made us realize we were dealing with a company that is serious about costumer service. They are always polite and willing to accommodate every traveler's needs. More importantly, the hike was perfectly organized. It was a pleasure having Elvis and Willy as our guides (two guides for nine tourists/hikers). They were extremely friendly to everyone, and very knowledgable of the trail and the Inca history. The porters (12) were also friendly and incredibly efficient, and the food was plentiful and surprisingly good given the context. Inocencio, the cook, is practically a magician. There may be other competent companies out there, but I can guarantee you you won't regret hiring Infocusco.

1) We had 12 people total in our InfoCusco Inca Trail hike which made it a perfect size and great 'family' to get to know. Since we went at beginning of March, many of our group were from South America (it's their summer) so that was a great chance to practice Spanish! We had 2 guides for such a large group. Elvis(Elbis) was our main guide, around 30 y.o., and was the best possible one we could have asked for. He was far more knowledgable and attentive than other guides I have had in the past (including on the Trail). Willie, a little younger, did a great job too. The porters were incredible, food amazing, and each of these staff went above and beyond to make our 4 days very memorable.

2) My critiques of the company itself: This is a 'lower end' company, one of the cheapest outfits you can hike the trail with; although I felt it was very sufficient on almost everything. First, when we met the night before for our debrief meeting, the admin notified us our remaining balance (~$600 US) was due in cash. You CANNOT use a credit card unless want to buy an outrageous fee. This was very inconvenient as it cost us another $10 in ATM charges to do multiple withdrawals that night. I find it quite shocking that they have been in business this long yet can't accept a VISA (many of the restaurants around Cusco gladly take VISAs with no upcharge....). The second concern: day 2 is known as the hardest trekking day of 7 hours uphill and then 2 hours down. This put us in a position of eating bfast at about 6 AM and then not another meal until 3 PM. My body definitely ran out of energy and water wasn't enough to replace it (needed carbs!) so at the least I think some porters, etc. should stop at the rest stop (right before dead woman's pass) to give out some rice/beans something carb heavy to get the crew ready.

All in all - please do the Inca Trail as it may be strenuous but is well worth it to see the ruins along the way and the big reveal of Macchu Picchu on the 4th day --- means a lot more after working for it than just riding a train in....
