On the way to Monaco, enjoy the panoramic drive along the coast, over Nice, Villefranche Bay, and Monaco. Stop in Eze to visit this amazing medieval village and learn about the whole process of perfume with Fragonard.Please note that there are few steps to climb if you want to reach the top of the village. After a drive through the village of la Turbie and its 2000 years old monument, the Trophy of the Alps, you will reach the Principality of Monaco Discover the Casino square of Monte-Carlo with luxury shops and cars.

Take a ride on the Formula 1 circuit and reach the old town. Admire the Prince’s Palace and the Cathedral, watch the Changing of the Guards (11:55am). This stop does not include a visit of the Prince's Palace.
During your tour, the guide will provide information in the minivan in order to give you free time to explore on your own.
For Cruisers, in case of last minute cancellation of port of call, an exceptional refund of 50% will be granted upon request.

En route to Monaco, make a first stop to discover the medieval village of Eze, one of the most picturesque sites of the French Riviera. Dating from the Middle Ages, the village was built on top of the rocky outcrop for security reasons. The walls of the twelfth century will be dismantled in 1706 by order of Louis XIV. Take the cobbled streets and reach the top where you can find today the exotic garden and the castle ruins, the view is amazing (1,400 ft / 427 meters high). Stop to discover the process of perfume at the perfum factory Fragonard.

Go through the village of La Turbie, also called the "Monaco terrace" because of the panoramic view of the Principality of Monaco. Admire the ruins of an imposing monument (164 ft/ 50 meters high) : the Trophy of the Alps, dedicated to the Emperor Augustus, built 7 BC on the road that linked Italy to Cimiez (the Roman Quarter Nice) longtime ago.

In front of the Palais du Prince, you will discover the Changing of the Guard at 11:55, you will notice the Carabinieri Barracks . Created on the 8th of December 1817, the Carabinieri have for main missions to ensure the safety of the Royal Family as well as maintain public order. This stop does not include the visit of the Prince's Palace. If you like, you can visit the inside of the Prince's Palace (10€/adult, 5€/child)

You will then reach the Principality of Monaco. Spend the afternoon in the old town on "Le Rocher" (the rock) overlooking the sea and harbor (197 ft / 60 meters high), where you will discover the Prince's Palace and the Changing of the Guard at 11:55. Free time

Next, see the Justice Palace was inaugurated in 1930, built in solid tufa, a porous gray stone also used to construct the walls.

You will also see the Cathedral of neo-Roman style, the first stone was laid the 6th of January 1875. Entirely built in white stones from La Turbie career during the reign of Prince Charles III, it was completed on the 12th of November 1903. You can pay tribute to the Monaco Princes and "Princesse Grace de Monaco" who rest here

You can also have a look at the Oceanographic Museum created there over a century by Prince Albert I of Monaco.Oceanographic Museum (14€/adult, 10€/child)

Afterwards, move on to Monte-Carlo in the most beautiful way by taking the famous Grand Prix track of Formula One.

Explore Monte Carlo and discover the Casino de Monte-Carlo whose construction was ordered by the Société des Bains de Mer (created by François Blanc in 1863 ) and the plans were developed in 1878 by the famous architect Charles Garnier. See the lavish Gardens Casino, and marvel at the Hôtel de Paris wich has all the charm of the great hotels of the 19th century, the inauguration took place in 1864.

The tour was good and I enjoyed being able to go to such beautiful and amazing places. However, there are two complaints, with the first one being that we didn’t stop in La Turbie, we were just shown the town in the van in which the group of the tour was being transported in. The second complaint was that I personally think that we could have had a little bit more time in Monte Carlo, since the tour guide barely gave us 20 minutes in this famous and remarkable street.

Our driver and guide, Victor was cheerful, humorous, interesting and informative. He shared stories and facts about what we were seeing as he drove us to Eze and ultimately to Monaco. It was a lovely day my husband and I will always remember. Thanks, Victor!

excellent tour, we were family of five and we were the only group, we were picked from our hotel exactly on time, we went to Eze first, we spent sometime in the streets, we were offered the perfume factory tour but since we have done one before, we elected not do it (it was our own decision), then we headed to monaco, we stopped in the front of the casino first, then we headed to downtown Monaco, we had plenty of time to explore everything, the casino, we visited the Prince palace and were able to watch the guard while changing shifts, we visited the palace, the old Monaco, the church, the museum, before heading back to Nice, our tour operator was amazing and provide us with plenty of information and tips, highly recommend this tour

It was exciting to be in the second smallest country in Europe. The trip was excellent. The guide was very knowledgeable, accommodative, and kind. I wish I had more money to be inside of the famous casino!

Loved our guide Michael. We had cloudy weather but definitely a trip worth taking. Our guide was informative and seemed to really enjoy his work. The van was comfortable. Best memory was the perfume factory, walking the narrow paths of Eze. Monaco was great as a onetime experience also. Glad we picked the all day trip vs the half day.

Tour was great. Just the right amount of time at each location. The guide was excellent with interesting and informative things to tell us at each sight and along the way.
