.Comércio Square: This Square was the centerpiece of the reconstruction that took place after the earthquake of 1755 which has reduced Lisbon to rubble. In a privilege location, facing the river, this is the most popular square in Lisbon and one of the largest in Europe.

Learn about Alfama's connection to Fado music. A genre so pungent and touching that it will not easily leave anyone indifferent. It's even said that Fado makes the cobblestone streets cry.

.National Pantheon: Also known as St. Engratia Church, it’s a majestic baroque monument that took three centuries to build (from 1682 to 1966) and is the resting place of the most important cultural and political figures in the country.

It is one of the most important monasteries and mannerist buildings in the country. The monastery also contains the royal pantheon of the Braganza monarchs of Portugal.

Graça is on the highest of the seven hills, Graça is located next to the iconic São Jorge Castle and this area is famous for its two beautiful viewpoints: Senhora do Monte belvedere and Graça belvedere, also known as Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen viewpoint. During the 20th century this neighbourhood became a residential area for factory workers mainly. At that time this neighbourhood was characterized by its courtyards, traditional taverns and grocery stores, hosted popular festivities and the first public school was founded here (Voz do Operário) as well as the arrival of the iconic 28 tram.

Crossover the castle coast, climb to Graça to see the most incredible picture of the Lisbon Castle.

Lisbon’s oldest neighbourhood and the most charming one, it’s considered the historic soul of Lisbon and its steep, cobblestoned lanes stand just as they were in medieval times. This area is best known for its fado houses and the great festivities of Lisbon which honors “Santo António” (St. Anthony) during the month of June, luring thousands of people into the streets. This neighbourhood resisted to the terrible earthquake of 1755 and this is one of the main reasons that contributed to the preservation of its authenticity. This charming area retains some of the Moorish atmosphere with its alleys, staircases and clothes drying on the windows.

.Lisbon Cathedral: Officially referred to as Santa Maria Maior de Lisboa (Patriarchal Cathedral of Saint Mary Major) is the oldest place of worship in Lisbon, dating back to the mid 12th century

Fabulous bike tour and Joao is such a friendly and extremely knowledgeable guide. Route was adventurous and a little challenging if you’re not used to city cycling. Highly recommend!!!!

Antontella C was a very good tour guide - very knowledgeable and very kind and careful. She made us feel comfortable and safe on the bikes and asking questions. She took us to nice viewpoints in Alfama and gave lots of information about our stops. The idea for an ebike tour is an ok one as you can get up some of the hills to the views - but navigating Lisbon on a bike - ebike or not - is not ideal method of touring for everyone. So, while Antonella made the tour as good as it could be, and I would not hesitate to recommend a tour with her, I don't know that I can say the same about an ebike tour of Lisbon.

Our tour guide Joan was excellent and the tour was terrific! We learned so much about Portugal and got some great pics. Definitely recommend! Riding the e-bikes up the hills was very easy.

We joined a fun group of like minded people from lots of different places and were led by our guide Santos who was both entertaining and informative.
The ride itself was brilliant one the most fantastic electric bikes.
Would I recommend this tour to others wanting to explore Lisbon in a fun adventurous way? Definitely!

Booked the private tour with the guide Mathias. Amazing energy, enthusiastic historian and photographer, engaged but not over bearing. Lisbon sights are all up hills Ava an e-bike is a great way to experience multiple neighborhoods and sights and still be able to walk the next day!

My son and I took this trip, our first time using e-bikes, and we were not disappointed. Bill, our guide was tremendous. He guided us through the use of the bikes and expertly navigated our small group through the streets of Lisbon. At each stop, I felt as if we gained a deeper knowledge of Portugal. The sights we saw were incredible and easy to navigate with the e-bikes. Thank you Bill for memories we will never forget! :)
