Waste of time and money. There was nothing good about this tour. I wouldn't recommend it. There are better things to do in Porto.

The experience was great and would definitely suggest it to friends and family. Worth doing if your visiting Porto and looking to see the area without driving.

I was very disappointed in the hop-on-hop-off tour by Gray Line I took yesterday for several reasons. Initially we were directed to the nearest stop to begin the tour which was approximately a half-length from the sales office. Porto is hilly so this treck was not an easy one. But what infuriated me was that we drove back and stopped at the sales office. Why the treck then?
Secondly, I found it impossible to determine which site the recorded narrative was describing as we drove past. This needs to be clearer.
And finally, our route map was not the route we took. There were only 3 downtown stops which did not facilitate our sightseeing. Frustrating!
I'll not book another Gray Line tour as my vacation time is valuable & they wasted my morning. Avoid them!

Originally we had tickets for the Yellowbus line through our Travel Agent, but arrived in Porto to find they were no longer in business, despite all the bus stop signs still up. So bought another ticket for 48 hrs on the red bus which included the blue line across the river.
Audio commentary was scant - more music than commentary and often after we passed to POI. Buses infrequent and no communication from any of the drivers. Nobody told us that stops were closed and we had planned our visits around some of these spots near the port tasting areas. Would have cried if we hadn’t laughed as we sailed past our stops at a million miles and hour and ended up back at our starting point! Driver obviously wanted to get home!!
I do not recommend this company. It’s quicker and more efficient to walk and get your cardio fitness up!!

Although a hop-on-hop off bus is the perfect solution for visiting Porto (a very hilly city), it was disappointing that those selling the tour did not point out that some stops on the tour were not accessible due to construction.

I walked a fair way between river cruise and yellow route stop #7 (up a very steep hill) to find out after 40 minutes of waiting that the stop was no longer available due to construction.

A couple who read Portuguese (l do not) told me that is what the small sign said.

The boat tour was lovely but had no commentary (strange for a tourist ride).

Otherwise bus tour was good.

My disappointment regarding the guided tour that I recently followed in Porto at the end of May 2024. I understand that works may require changes to the route, but at no time was it made known to us that the route would be modified and that we would not be able to not seeing most of the interesting monuments that we expected.
Despite these changes, the price of the tour remained the same, which seems unfair to me given the reduced value of the experience.
I strongly recommend that you inform future participants of any route changes in advance and adjust prices accordingly. This would help manage expectations better and ensure higher customer satisfaction.

We started in orange zone. Stop was not well marked. Orange tour is perfect for the shops, restaurants. Boat tours, wine
cellars ,Cable car of Villa da Gaia.
It connects to blue line in city which had a better network. It takes you right out to the sea/,beach area at stop 7 (very industrial. Don't get out).
Very impressed with coverage and good commentary also

Arrived in Porto Portugal and purchased a 48 hour pass on the Hop On Hop Off Red bus which included a river cruise. Have used their services in other countries but this was the best 2 days we have ever had. Always on time, good coverage of all the tourist spots and some not so touristy. Excellent value for the money . River cruise was fantastic. Recommend it to everyone

The blue line tour was great . On time and with good commentary
Orange tour was unsatisfactory. No commentary , driver erratic . Last part no commentary

The Trip was very Nice and the Stops at exactly near to visit spots. The drivers and staff was very copoerative.
