Leave Dubrovnik behind for this special excursion including some of Hercegovina's most prominent attractions. Pros: 3 beautiful and interesting destinations, well worth seeing! Cool, well airconditioned bus and good safe driver. Delicious vegetarian food at the recommended restaurant in Mostar. Kind guide (Niko) who enjoyed his job, was positive and had personality, BUT...
Cons: Constant talking by our guide for most of the first 3 hours was exhausting - as was the repeated thank yous for joining the tour at the end (that went on for AGES ). There was a lack of content despite all the words. Lots of 'ladies and gentlemen, please pay attention, as I mentioned before here is an important historical site, please get your cameras ready' etc without many actual facts about the places. I was looking forward to learning about the places and the history of Bosnia on the tour but was disappointed. Any facts presented got lost in very long winded ramblings. I've experienced other tours in the Balkans with guides who deliver far more content (interesting background information, history, facts, personal stories) in less than a hundredth of the words! Perhaps the guide could be provided with some succinctly worded information about each place and try and stick to that.
Time in all 3 places is too short - but that is the nature of a one day tour trying to fit lots in. Just be prepared for that. There's no guided tour of Mostar - once you are there you are on your own, but we followed the guide's recommendation of a restaurant (as did most on our tour) and by the time we had eaten had less than an hour to explore Mostar - which meant we could see the streets and bridge but missed out on a museum visit which we wanted to do.
Bus seats were rather cramped up and no spare seats on the bus - if you are tall it would have been very challenging squeezing in. Border crossing took more than an hour on the way there even though there was no queue at the border. Maybe 45 minutes on way back.
Stunning places made up for the disappointment of little info provided by the guide and the exhaustion experienced having to listen to rambling English for hours!

The agent was very proactive and contacted me 2 days prior to the tour with clear instructions on pick up and timings. The pick up was prompt. Be warned people were turned away that didn’t have passports, common sense but several people did it.
It took about 1 hour to the border then 45 mins at the border. 1 hour to Kravice waterfalls which are beautiful. Then a short stop at Pocitelj before the short drive to Mostar. There is an optional group lunch in Mostar, we did it and it was very nice. 3 hours in total in Mostar before the return journey home high was 2 hours + border control. All in all in nice experience and a chance to visit another country whilst in Dubrovnik

The tour is extremely organised, on time and general brilliant. Loved the waterfalls and of course Mostar with the free time to walk around.
Highly recommended tour!

It is great country and has beautiful towns. The old world charm is really endearing. However, our driver cum guide was a big disappointment. He didn't share any information. He just left us and we did everything on our own.

Eine tolle und sehr gut organisierte Bustour für einen Tag.
Der Tourguide Niko war top organisiert, super hilfsbereit und hatte eine Menge Informationen zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten und der Kroatiens und Bosnien Herzogovinas.
Die Abfertigung an der EU Aussengrenze hat er zusammen mit dem Busfahrer in fast 40min geregelt (normalerweise kann das schon 1-2h dauern). Der Bus war gut klimatisiert, hier vielleicht einen leichten Pulli mitnehmen. Die Wasserfälle und Mostar sind super schöne Orte, aber sehr touristisch. Hier ist es jedem selbst überlassen, für was und wieviel er/sie Geld ausgegeben möchte.
Mittagessen war in Mostar in einem Restaurant auf Empfehlung mit sehr gutem Essen.
Auch Badesachen einpacken für eine Erfrischung an den Wasserfällen und im Fluss an der Brücke.

Very happy we decided to book this excursion. Mr Branko was our driver and Drazen was our tour guide who was very knowledgeable about the history of Croatia and Bosnia & Herzegovina. His personal stories were very appreciated and gave us an insight into what it’s like to grow up and live in Croatia.
The waterfalls were beautiful, we wish we could have spent more time there but appreciated we needed to move onto the next location.
Visiting Mostar was also a great experience and not somewhere I would have thought to visit before.
The shops in Mostar mostly accepted cash only so just bare this in mind when visiting.

We had a great day discovering Mostar, the Kravice Waterfalls and Pocitelj in Bosnia Herzegovina. Andrea, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and the tour group was lovely. We really enjoyed the tour, in spite of very high temperatures, and would recommend 😀.

We went on this excursion and enjoyed it. Note that in the summer months, Herzegovina is ridiculously hot (44C when we went) so bring lots of water. The swimming at Kravice is beautiful and very refreshing. We didn’t swim in Mostar but apparently the river is quite cold year round. Bring change in euros or Bosnia marks for fruit markets, and for fluids at stores.
The driver Franco and guide Tezan were excellent. We had a very unfortunate issue where the bus broke down but the guides took care of the issue and got us going again after a few hours.
Throughout the trip we felt safe and looked after. Would recommend, though again, it is hot in the summer months.

I had a great time on this tour. Niko was the best host I have had so far on any excursion. He was polite, informative and passionate about the trip. He was very accommodating as well, and even waited for us so that we did not miss the excursion due to a traffic accident. Niko gave very thorough instructions and lots of great information ahead of each stop. He made sure everyone had a great time. I would take this trip again just because of Niko’s fantastic service. I’d also like to review the bus driver who did an amazing job keeping us all safe and on time.
