WHAT TO EXPECT

Start your day with a pickup from your centrally located Dubrovnik hotel, and then travel out of the city by luxury vehicle. While your private guide drives, sit back and relax, admiring the scenic countryside of Župa Dubrovacka Valley and the Konavle region.
2.
Cross the border to Montenegro and travel along the picture-perfect Montenegro coast, typified by sweeping blonde-sand beaches. Pass the UNESCO-listed Bay of Kotor -- Europe’s southernmost fjord --along the way.
3.
Continue to the neighboring village of Perast, lying at the foot of St Elijah Hill. Much of it was destroyed following an earthquake in the late 1970s, but the gorgeous village still exudes a very Baroque feel with its beautiful villas and churches.
4.
Optionally, take a short boat ride the Our Lady of the Rocks island and admire the art stored inside the small chapel (boat ride fee 10€).
5.
Travel to Kotor, and explore this beautifully preserved medieval town. Learn about the town’s important sailing heritage, having had its own merchant navy under the Byzantine Empire. Visit St Tryphon Cathedral, an elegant Romanesque building.
6.
Soak up the views and then head to the coastal town of Budva for lunch (own expense). Enjoy a couple of hours here at leisure, perhaps relaxing on its famous beaches or strolling around the pretty streets. Meet your driver at the pre-arranged time and start your journey back to Dubrovnik, passing along the scenic coastal roads. Enjoy one last treat– a ferry crossing along the Bay of Kotor – and then finish your tour in the late afternoon back at your hotel.

This day trip to Montenegro from Dubrovnik was wonderful. We definitely prefer a private tour over a group tour. Iva, our driver, was a delight. Pleasant and very informative. She gave us a good overview of Perast and Kotor as we approached each location. Both towns were quaint and picturesque. Kotor was a bit crowded due to the cruise ships in port. On our way back to Dubrovnik we stopped off at a local restaurant away from the hustle and bustle to have a delicious late lunch. Would recommend!!

Arsenije was an absolutely amazing tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the area and its history. He also knew a lot about other world history too. He was very kind and open to changing plans based on what we were interested in and we couldn’t be happier with how our day went! 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Arsenije picked us up at our hotel on time, was very polite, knowledgeable about the history of the area, gave us a lot of information, made us feel comfortable and welcomed. Since we had a private tour we could tailor it to our needs - we could spend more or less time at the scheduled stops, ask as many questions as we wanted, and we did 😁. On the way back we took a different rout that went by this beautiful restaurant “Holiday” with the most gorgeous view of the mountains and the water. We stoped for the picture and stayed for the dinner. The food was amazing, the service was excellent and again - Arsenije was waiting for us and after we were done he brought us safely back to our hotel in Dubrovnik. The experience was totally worth it- very personalized, unique and unforgettable. Arsenije is a very good and safe driver, patient and welcoming! We highly recommend him as a guide and a driver for a long day trip!!!

Arsenia was a lovely guide- very knowledgeable of the regions of Montenegro and Croatia, even knew tips and short cuts to make the trip the best time! :) he was friendly and helpful, we had a lovely day and the three destinations of kotor, perast and budva were stunning!

We had a wonderful tour from Dubrovnik to Montenegro. We learned so much from Daniel, our tour guide and driver. Montenegro is a beautiful country. We enjoyed every minute, especially going out to the church on an island.

The night before the trip the guide tried to get us to re-schedule. Remove a star. Then the day of the trip he was late. The guide had to pull over to make several calls (to smoke) Otherwise the trip was great. The scenery was beautiful ☀️ wish we had a different guide.
