Vjeran was an energetic guide. Lots of information shared with jokes to keep us laughing. His “human selfie stick” skills would make for a great holiday card if I bothered to send them.

Had an excellent trip with Lily our guide to the many sites. Glacier hike was better than I thought. Very fun and learning the history was great. Kiki our Glacier guide was knowledgeable and he made it fun. Going to the different sites and seeing the waterfalls was incredible. Lily was great with our group with the history and changes through the years. Also helping us out with many recommendations around the area.

What a fantastic day we've just had full of breathtaking views in a nice small group lead by Vjeran, our superman tour guide. He made our day in Iceland so memorable, fun and enriched with tons of interesting info about Iceland's nature and history topped with some jokes and city legends. All in all, I've really enjoyed our tour, definitely a must do.

Excellent intro to the main sights on the south coast with a glacier hike and ice cave experience. Bjorn was a great guide super knowledgeable and lots of fun. I only wish I had booked a 3 day experience to see more sights.

Opted for two separate day tours with Artic adventures, first tour visiting the south coast and glacier climbing with Siggy and second tour visiting Snaefellsnes & Kirkjufell with Rebecca.
Both tours were simply amazing and well organised, Rebecca and Siggy were really great, approachable and friendly. Both were very knowledgeable, full of facts and stories as we went along.
We were given plenty of time to explore each sites and all instructions were clearly provided.
On both occasions we saw some fantastic places and really enjoyed learning about the history of them.
The bus was super comfortable and well equipped with Wifi and charging plug which really comes handy when you taken millions of pictures and use your devices!!
When we come back to visit the north and east coasts of Iceland we will be sure to use you guys!
Thank you for these two fantastic days!

Great sightseeing at the stops, but otherwise an okay experience.

First, I view "small group" as definitely under 12 people, if not closer to 6-8 people. This tour caps out at 19 individuals, which seems quite large for something advertised as a small group tour. Make sure you look at the ratio of guide to guest when booking any of the Arctic Adventure tours if this is important to you.

Second, the bus used was quite tight for two in-shape, but tall adult men. Was not a comfortable experience considering many of these tours require a few hours of driving each way.

Third, I booked a tour expecting our guide would be engaged along the drive providing historical/geographical facts and background. This was NOT the experience I received with Arctic Adventures here. Our bus driver/tour guide was pleasant, but kept communication to a minimum and did not provide much information except for where we are stopping, and what time we needed to be back on the bus.

My key advice is I guess do your research and know what you want. I thought I had done a fair amount of research but looking back I could have gone a bit deeper and found exactly what I would have wanted. The natural beauty of this tour was amazing, and the sights are unmatched. There was enough time at each stop to take some nice pics.

The part my partner & I LOVED was our glacier hike. This was a smaller group of 8-12 individuals and it was incredible. Our guide Gaia (spelling?) was really knowledgable, welcoming, and made the hike the highlight! The hike may have looked a bit intimidating but really a comfortable difficulty level for anyone who walks and goes to the gym from time to time. Very neat history provided by the hiking guide and she took some great pics of each group on each of our phones.

This is a long day out (nearly 12 hours) and a lot of time is spent on the minibus but it’s well worth it. We saw some amazing countryside. The stops at the two waterfalls don’t allow much time but it’s fairly quick to view them. Reynisfjara black sand beach is incredible although hard to get good photos of because it gets so busy. However, if you walk away from the crowds and in the opposite direction you may well have that stretch to yourself. The highlight of the trip for us was the glacier hike. I’d have been impressed enough just to walk up to it and see the size of it but to hike on it was something else. Our glacier guide was knowledgeable and talked us through safety precautions as well as how to use our gear. From the car park it’s a 10 minute walk to the glacier and for most of that you have a stunning view of it and the lake in front of it. We were on the glacier for about an hour and a half in a group of 10. It was really interesting to hear how it was formed and walk past the different features. I’d really recommend this if you enjoy hiking in general, it was an unforgettable experience and I hope I get the chance to do it again. There are toilets just before you set out for the hike but you have to pay to use them (they take card).
Arctic Adventures were great for this tour, very punctual and kept us well-informed. Staff at the glacier were friendly and made sure we had correctly fitting gear before we headed off. The only thing we found was that there were a few people on our minibus doing slightly different tours and for this the minibus made a few detours to drop off/pick up people from other sites. Perfectly understandable and obviously the best way of organising it but it did add to the length of time we were travelling for.
