Our family went on this food tour 7/5/24. Luca was our tour guide and we had a great time! We had a 3.5 hr private tour. Luca was very knowledgable and fun! Luca had lots of historic information for us as well. We had lots of questions and he was full of answers and never was bothered by all our questions. We had lots of great food and wine. We would 100% do this tour again! We left satisfied!

Fabulous from start to end! Booked a private tour for 7 family members. Gloria was our guide and she was fantastic - friendly, super knowledgeable, and answered all of our many questions. The tour mixes the history of Rome neighborhoods and food all into one!

This is a good tour. We were very happy with the experience and Monica was an excellent tour guide! As with any of these group activities, a lot of the experience is due in part to the others that are with you. We had a very small group - only 8 of us - out of a max of 12 ppl. I liked that the size was smaller. We thought the food was tasty and Monica was incredibly informative and shared way more info than just food.
In many ways this is a walking tour of these three neighborhoods with food. Some reviews complain about the value for the food received, but you're supposed to be snacking the entire time - not having sit down meals.
All in all, five stops (with food) and another 5-7 stops to learn about buildings, ruins, history all in three hours is a pretty good value for what we spent.

If you are able to, book Camilla! She was absolutely amazing. A flawless tour guide, she knew every detail we could possibly ever want to know and even some we didn’t know we wanted to know, but were so happy to hear. Even less desirable aspects of various areas of the city were told in a compassionate and kind manner. This young woman loves Rome and really gave us an opportunity to see its historic and modern beating heart. Her passion for Italy, food, and history oozed over to every one of us. I know we all felt something special happened during this tour that made us part of Rome in a way we never would have been. Thank you for exceeding expectations!!!

This was hands down the best tour I have ever received. I learned so many cool trivia topics like why a Margarita pizza is called "Margarita" and as for the Jewish ghetto I had read about it before but did not understand anything until this tour. The food at every place was amazing and the cost for what we got was wonderfully inexpensive. Our tour guide was lovely and I just can not rave enough about this tour.

If you are looking for a tour of the typical spaghetti and meatballs, this is not your tour. However, if you are looking for what the locals eat and some insight into how to prepare it, this is the tour for you! From authentic Roman Pizza to Fried Asparagus, and some authentic Roman Gelato, this tour has all the delicacies your tastebuds crave on a trip to Rome. Frederica made us feel like locals and helped us to feel like locals. Insider baseball abounded with food insights, stories, and recipes, and even special offers. This tour is a fantastic way to get all the insight you need into Roman cuisine.

Our guide, Benedetto, was amazing. She brought so much more to the tour than just the food. We learned about the culture of Rome as well as tasting great food. I never would have tried “Cacio e Pepe” if I had not taken the tour. Highly recommend.

Gloria was an amazing guide. She adeptly led us through the amazing dining areas of Rome supplying us with details of Italian cuisine and a flavor of the local community. I learned a lot about the local Roman culture due to Gloria’s skillful explanation of the foods, the local area and culture. And the food was amazing. This tour was an unexpected surprise as it was a last minute addition to my trip.

Our group was 12 people who each were lovely. Federica was fun, enthusiastic and created such a warm atmosphere. The 5 stops each included history of the area plus great food! Last stop the best gelato I’ve ever eaten!

It was a wonderful tour led by passionate food tour guide Luka with his amazing story telling and great selection of appetisers, local specialties from authentic family run restaurants. While sampling tasty specialities, we walked through the bylanes seeped with history. Highly recommended tour if you want a combination of both culture and food.
