We were picked up at meeting point by our driver with Marta as our guide. Beautiful drive to Montserrat, awesome sights. The Basicilica was gorgeous, saw the Black Madonna and had a bite of lunch before back into Barcelona. City drive thru one of the cemeteries, up to Mont Juic, then to Parc Guell and La Sagrada Familia. Marta was very informative with going overboard. Wonderful day.

Our tour of Barcelona with Barcelona Day Tours exceeded our expectations. We were a group of 9 seniors and were picked up at our hotel. We also had a cute little family of 5 on the tour with us. Our guide, Marta and driver, Xavier were amazing. Marta was so personable and fun. She was a wealth of information. Our first stop was Monserrat with time to see the “Black Madonna.” From there we walked through Guell Park. Marta kept everyone involved throughout the entire day. It was a hot day and Marta kept a slower pace through the Park and kept us in the shade where possible. We drove to a few more lookout spots to overlook the city. Our final stop was LaSagrada Familia. She walked us all around the exterior of the Cathedral giving us the history and descriptions of what we were looking at. It was like nothing any of us have ever seen! We finished our tour by going through the inside of the Cathedral. It was a full day and we will remember this tour for a long time. Don’t hesitate to book Barcelona Day Tours!

The views at Montserrat were incredible, and Parc Guell and the Sagrada Familia were awe inspiring. If given a choice, buy the tickets for Parc Guell- it is worth the money. This was a wonderful company to work with. Marc Jacobs and his crew in the office were very responsive in helping me to plan this excursion. Our driver, Alphonso, was great, and our guide, Marta, was incredible. I really appreciated how she discussed the imagery in the Guadi works. Thank you everyone for a memorable day.

Barcelona Day Tours came highly recommended by friends who used them last year. We started corresponding months before our trip and they really went out of their way to give us options that fit our needs. They provided exceptional service before, during, and after our trip. Fantastic day with perfect weather. Marta was an expert and took us first to Monserrat to beat the crowd. Fresh mountain air meets spiritual awakening. We had virtually no lines anywhere. We couldn’t get tix for Sagrada Familia but Marta took us to a lunch place where we could see it in full view. Park Guell was magical and a great way to end the day.

We booked this tour coming off a cruise ship. The morning of, I received a text that the tour time had been changed to a half of an hour earlier. I replied that I had to wait to disembark the ship. I also received a phone call, about an hour before my scheduled time. The representative was extremely nice and told me the Monserrat tickets had been changed unexpectedly, and someone would be waiting to pick us up at the cruise terminal. We were leaving the ship (at the originally scheduled time), and received a call that the tour would have to leave without us in order to make the Monserrat tour for everyone else.
the company provided us a ride to our hotel, and picked us up so we could continue on the second half of the tour. They were very apologetic, and helpful. They also refunded half of the amount of the tour.
The tour of the city was very educational, and the guide was exceptional. I would highly recommend.
