Bel was amazing! Extremely helpful, very friendly, very knowledgeable and always with a smile on her face:) Despite a thick fog and the rain (you may want to bring layers of clothing to wear), the monastery was beautiful and well worth time to go for a visit. Lunch was excellent, and the wine tasting was a great way to finish the day! The 7or 9 hour tour is perfect for adults.

What a memorable trip! Our guide Susana was excellent - so helpful, easy and very funny. Bus ride from Barcelona was on a nice coach bus with Alfonso giving great tour guide commentary. Then we boarded the train line to take us up to the Monastery. We had about 2-1/2 hours there with a guided tour (Susana) which included the chapel. We didn’t go up close to the Madonna statue (that costs more and takes time in the line). We hiked to the Cross of San Miguel, which was a beautiful vantage point. Then another coach bus ride down the mountain to the Winery (Oller Del Mas) for a very nice lunch then wine tasting. It was a relaxing end to the trip. We can’t say enough good things about Susana - the perfect guide and host!

The wine tasting was nice. The tapas were a little disappointing. Our guide was very good and spoke English well.

My partner and I had an amazing time on this Montserrat tour! The breathtaking views, the rich history of the Monastery, and the delicious lunch at the 10th-century winery made for an unforgettable experience. Bel, our guide, was fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and ensured we had a perfect day. Highly recommended!

So glad we decided on this particular tour of Montserrat. We thoroughly enjoyed being part of the group led by Thais. She is certainly very knowledgeable in the history and culture of this remote city. She gave us enough time on our own to explore the Basilica and do a 20-minute hike to the cross. Cogwheel ride was very nice and comfortable and we had great views of the mountains while Thais explained some of the historical and geographical features of this beautiful area. The lunch at the vineyard was quite lovely. Simple meal yet very delicious and the wines we sampled were very good. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in exploring Montserrat.Well worth your time and money. And be sure to ask for Thais as your guide. She's very friendly and although she will mention she's not a sommelier, she's very capable of being one. You can tell how passionate she is about her job and you won't be bored in her company.

Toni was an outstanding tour guide and loved having free time to do a little hike around. My only complaint were the prices to try wine at the winery, they included 3 but if you wanted to try the orange wine it was 42 euros for a 2.5 ounce taste! We should have looked at the prices first before ordering, just a warning!!

Our tour guide Yerai was amazing. Very knowledgeable and personable. He has a thorough knowledge on both Montserrat and wine tasting. One of the best and most informative wine tastings I have done.

I signed up for this trip very last minute and was so glad I did! I had intended on going to Montserrat on my own- but after looking at the logistics- it was much easier to take a tour group and try the wine of the country along the way. (Vince was a total addition here!)

It was the right choice though as I entered the air conditioned bus to head over (it was late June and rather hot!) We even got to learn a lot about the history of Catalan and Montserrat along the way. We went on the cogwheel which was exciting to feel heading up the mountain. Once we got there we got an orientation from Vince- we learned about hour hour of free time to go spend time in the basilica- take a small hike to gorgeous vista, go to the farmers market for honey and cheese, or to go check out the art museum that is hiding pieces by Picasso and Money deep within the vaults.

I opted for the farmers market and art museum! Both were fantastic!

After that we headed to the vineyard- In many trips- I would have expected a different guide AT the winery- but Vince was ready to go! As a title sommelier- he showed us some of the ways that they keep the grounds organic for the future of the earth and the vineyards. He led us through an absolutely fabulous wine tasting and took us back safely to Barcelona.

I think one of the things that made this experience the best is that Vince was close to both the winery and as a Catalonian and as a wine expert he was very passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience with us.

Service was great! Mariana and tony were great. I would choose a different winery though. It's beautiful but the wine by the glass is high(22$) and they don't have cava. Montserrat was breathtaking.
