Korean War was stopped on 27th of July 1953 after signing armistice agreement, since then, DMZ buffer zone was drawn to prevent any kind of fight from happening.

This tour allows you to understand what happened after Korean War, from 1950s to present days.

It is a DMZ tour but we don't get to go inside the DMZ, DMZ is the border and heavily minded area, we go into the military zone which is outside the DMZ and visit 3rd infiltration tunnel dug by North Korea and observatory to see and understand the DMZ and division.

By the way, this is DMZ tour not JSA, JSA is the place where the armistice was signed and where the president of the USA went to shake his hand with the Leader of North Korea in 2019, this specific tour, please look for JSA tour.

Please bring the passport since we are going into military zone

WHAT'S INCLUDED

WHAT TO EXPECT

1.
First we will travel for 1 hour to arrive at Imjingak from our pick up point in Seoul. Imjingak is the place built after first talk between South and North Korea in 1972. It became the place for longing the unification of Korea and there are places to see, we will see places listed below before joining the DMZ tour bus. 1. Freedom Bridge - it is made for soldiers to cross the river 2. Rusty locomotive - relocated after being stuck in DMZ for half century 3. Imjin-river train bridge - Train bridge blown up doing the Korean War

We take the DMZ tour bus to go visit 3 places. 1.) 3rd infiltration tunnel, 2.) Dora observatory to look at DMZ from the distance, 3) Quick stop at the supermarket in the Unification village DMZ is heavily mined area, only special soldiers can go inside to make sure there is no violation of agreement between South and North Korea. Unfortunately tourist can only see it from observatory that is located outside the DMZ to understand the situation of the division. DMZ is 2km to South and North each from the demarcation line and this line stretches from West to East for about 250 km Let's hope someday we can pass though DMZ as we did in late 2000s (North Korea tours from South were available then)

One of many observatories to witness the tragic border of Korea. Here, you can also witness the progress of cooperation between South and North Korea. After tour, it will take 1 hour to drive back to Seoul and you will be dropped off at where you get picked up.

After DMZ tour, we will go to Odusan Unification observatory to see North Korea one more time from the distance, this observatory offers some unique exhibitions and closer view on the life of North Korean farmers.

Juno picked us up from our hotel room for a tour of the DMZ. He was very energetic and informative with historical background of the Korean War. Highly recommend touring with Juno

AWESOME! Our tour guide Juno was the best!! He is very knowledgeable, friendly, and timely. He speaks very clear English which was so helpful for my parents who were visiting Korea. We asked him countless questions and he had so much Korean history and culture knowledge to share. He took us to a great lunch spot and also stopped by a dumpling place so we could pick some up later on when we asked. He was very attentive and made us feel comfortable. The car was very clean, nice, and spacious as well. Leading up to the tour, I reached out with a question and they responded right away and made sure everything worked out great. Could not have asked for a better tour!! I 100% recommend booking with them!! It was worth every penny!!

This tour was absolutely incredible. Juno, our guide, was full of information! He not only made the day so fun but also was so knowledgeable about everything. He picked us up from where we were staying and we spent the entire day exploring lookouts around the DMZ and our DMZ trip. You have some free time depending on which tour you get, and Juno showed us other great places/lookouts so we weren’t just sitting around. This is a must do and Juno is the perfect person to do it with!!

We started the tour at 7am (got picked up from Myeongdong Station) and drove for about an hour until we reached the DZM. We visited the DMZ, went down to the 3rd InfiltrationTunnel, went up to the Dora Observatory and visited the village, inhabited by ex S.Korean soldiers and their families where we had the opportunity to get some souvenirs.

Mr. Juno was a really friendly and funny guide with a lot of passion about the topic, which he managed to transmit during this tour. He gave us a brief 'history lesson ' about the events starting from the End of WW2 to the present, which was very useful and helped us understand more the current situation.

During the visit to the different locations he gave us further information about the different locations ans various fun facts.

Whilst driving back to Seoul Mr Juno gave us Insider tips about Seoul and some places to visit during our stay.

I definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to have a fun and informative time at the DMZ

The guide was very informative and everything was planned really well! Had a great time 😁 We started our tour from the peace park, then went inside the DMZ, to the infiltration tunnel and the observatory.

The tour was amazing! Mr. Juno was so funny and informative about the DMZ. The group was so nice and and we got to see so much about the history of the Korean War.
Mr. Juno brought a binder full of pictures to show as he told the history of the conflict and it was very detailed.

The tour was very informative and funny.Our tour guide Juno Lee was passionate about the subject and had a lot of historical knowledge.We went down one of the tunnels, to the observatory and very briefly to a small village in/near the DMZ. The tour finished at around 2, which was great because it left enough time to explore Seoul in the afternoon. I am glad we decided to join this tour and I highly recommend it!
