Our tour guide Adeel was amazing, he carried expert knowledge on all aspects of our site-seeing guided tour - I thoroughly enjoyed his very insightful knowledge especially in the Egyptian Museum concerning all the various Egyptian Kingdoms and associated dynasties even the those later eras of the Ptolemaic; Fatimid;Mamluk and Otterman empires
We even got fascinating commentary in the shuttle transport whilst driving to our various destinations
He was also apologetically respectful of our wishes not to proceed with some of his recommendations- which I feel is a bit lacking in Egypt
A truly brilliant tour guide and equally amazing tour itself

The best way to get to know Egypt in depth is the "Egypt Select Tours". I spent 3 days touring the pyramids, Giza, museums and the city of Alexandria. Adel and Youssef, awesome professionals and tireless, flexible to make a program that met my wishes and needs. The best gift a traveler can give himself before arriving in Egypt. I highly recommend it and thank them personally for the good work they do!

To someone who wants to explore Egypt like a native, we would absolutely recommend Egyptselecttours! We enjoyed three guided tours with them (Cairo Museum, Giza Pyramids and Alexandria). Both Adel and Youssef are amazing guides, so knowledgeable, so kind, so professional, so willing to answer every question we made them!
The communication and feedback we had with Adel even before arriving was always informative and prompt whatever the time of the day -or night!- we reached out to him. He was flexible enough to tailor the visits so as to meet our needs and priorities but also to pick us up and start the tour even in the middle of the day (due to unexpected extrinsic factors that changed our initial plans). We drove through Cairo and Alexandria safely by their – always- spotless car having a local’ s perspective of everyday life in the city.
With their guidance we learnt about Egypt not only as tourists but also as in a journey back in time!
We are sincerely grateful for that experience!

Adel is a great tour guide. We highly recommend him and will ask for him when we return. He is very well informed and leads his tours very professionally, with your experience in mind. He is always open to anything you want to do, or change, and offers great suggestions for food and stops between tours. We changed our tour a few times due to traffic and the duration of certain stops, and we were thankful we had Adel to lead us through Cairo and Giza

We engaged Mr Adel through our hotel tour desk. We only had half the day to spare and so our tour consisted of the Saladin Citadel, the Museum, inclusive of lunch (which is a buffet) and finally the khan el khalili bazaar. The price we paid includes all entry tickets and driver and tolls. Basically it was one flat fee paid upfront to the hotel and Mr Adel and the driver picked us up and there was no need for anything out of pocket anymore, unless maybe a well deserved tip out of goodwill at the end. They did bring us to a tourist stop perfume shop (which is the shop next door to our buffet lunch place) but we weren’t interested at all and so basically we sat down, told the shopowners we weren’t interested and left all within 2 minutes. We understand that this was just part of the business and were just happy there were no pressure tactics to get us to stay or part with our money.
We were absolutely delighted with Mr Adel‘s tour. He is a legit specialist in Pharaonic history and is knowledgeable in all things Egypt. And personally we thought Mr Adel was a commanding presence that helped deter the touts. Because he had so much to impart, and seeing that we were so engaged, the touts respected our space and we were able to go about these places uninterrupted.
We truly highly recommend Mr Adel’s company and services.

Mr Adel as a tour guide has been a blessing. He is such a composed person and his description on every historical detail is very clear, comprehensive and entertaining for all of us from Singapore. He is able to taylor to our needs especially when it comes to my 4 children aged 9 to 16 along with my mom aged 65 years old. He can relate well with all of us. He is not rushing us in all tour activities but was able to stagger all items well to suit our needs. We definitely learned lots of valuable input from this amazing tour of 6 days 5nights sta in Cairo Egypt. Cant wait for the River Nile Dinner cum Cruise tonight! Will recommend Mr Adel to all my friends and family members!

Started at the Egyptian museum, Zaki was our guide. He’s very knowledgeable and the whole trip went so smooth. Learned so much from him and his English is very good. Very clear and he has a great voice. Would definitely recommend him as your guide.
For lunch, you’ll have to pay extra 250 for buffet. Food’s not that good, but it’s easier than to ask them to take us to another place as the guide and driver get free lunch there.
The mosque is cool, bazaar was just okay. You’ll have to bargain of course if you want to buy anything.
Overall great trip, museum was definitely our favourite. Remember to bring more water than you thought you’d need because weather/inside of the museum is hot and it makes you thirstier than usual.
