The description of the trip was misleading. Ein Gedi is not a lush rain forest in a desert. There are several small waterfalls with some pools of water that u can get into. The camel ride and Bedouin experience is in a parking lot off a highway. The Dead Sea was cool to do but the person I went with had done it before in a much nicer area and accommodations that had a beach, which this place did not. Jonathan, our tour guide was fabulous though and really saved the trip!

Our family had the best time. Our guide Avi was engaging and quite knowledgeable and a true pleasure to spend the day with. We had the perfect amount of time with a local Bedouin family and their delicious food and adorable baby camel. Ein Gedi exceeded our expectations of an oasis in the desert on a very hot day and our stop at the Dead Sea filled out the day nicely. Extra bonus was a stop at a local gem for falafel and Sabich for lunch. Highly recommend for all!
