Tour was confirmed and charged to my credit card but got canceled 20 min before pick up time.
Reason: the night visit 9hpm is only available on Fridays and we were Thursday night.
Despite, the tour is offered and this is misleading. It was our last night in Cairo and we did nothing!!! Too late to catch another tour.
Now, I have to find out how to get reimbursed.

We got into Cairo later in the evening and knew that the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization was open late that night, so we booked this tour. We got picked up from the airport and taken to the museum. we had a quick overview of the collection and then were given free time to view the Royal Mummies on our own. I feel that it made the most of our time that evening by getting to see the museum we wouldn't have otherwise had time for. We got dropped off at our hotel afterwards which was nice.
The only downside I would say is it cost a lot for just a couple of hours at the museum.
