The attractions feel a little unserious at times with the gimmicks or cafes, but overall it is very educational.
Our tour guide went by the name SP. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He made a point to check for understanding and answered any questions very well. The trip very much opens your eyes to the reality of the two countries conflict. I recommend bringing water and checking the weather. There are lots of bathroom breaks, lots of walking especially at steep angles which can be pretty tiring even for fairly athletic people.

It's overly patriotic and it's aim to give a balanced picture is not fulfilled. You would expect this from a tour within North-Korea, but I expected more wisdom from the South. At times the mocking of the North is too much and sometimes a weird romantization of the DMZ.
The interview and QA with the North Korean is insightful and valuable.
You need to be lucky with the weather to see any of North Korea from the observation deck. We saw little through the fog.

SP is a very thorough tour guide and arranges well for us. The tour started at 6.50 am where we were picked up and ended approximately 3 pm.

There were good views, the three stops were very interesting and very historical. There were historical movies and a overlook beyond North Korea.

Very nice tour with SP to the dmz. The starting point is very central if you stay in myendong and the bus is comfortable. They also explain well the Korean War

Tour was great! Very organised and SP gave us loads of info and explanation on the history in the area. He led us around the sites but we also had free time. Highly recommend!

Amazing, amazing value too. Large coach bus. Ran thoroughly and on time. Our Guide, SP is the best. He texted the day before, so we all had his contact information. So much information and history that SP shared. Highly recommend, he was the most engaging guide we saw! The insight of the defector was very, very interesting

Han (solo) was a great guide! He gave us lots of interesting insights into the DMZ and the facilities we saw. A real highlight was getting the opportunity to ask questions directly to a North Korean defector. It was absolutely fascinating to openly ask questions and hear her experiences. I can massively recommend this tour!
