I can’t recommend this excursion enough! It is the absolute best bang for your buck. You will see all of the must sees when visiting Mexico City with transportation and admission to things included. The tour guides were extremely friendly and did a GREAT job teaching us all we needed to know in both English and Spanish. A special shoutout to Alexa and Leonardo who were both so passionate about their country and willing to answer any questions. If you’re looking at an excursion for Mexico City this is the one!

Alexa was an absolute amazing and extremely knowledgeable English translating tour guide. She scheduled sites in order and everything made sense. She was friendly enough to give us recommendations for the rest of our trip. Only down side was that she wasn’t our tour guide for day two. Thanks Alexa!!

When I initially saw this tour I immediately thought wow all this already done for me! it was perfectly planned out for those who like both to visit historical areas and also informative! My favorite parts were Xochimilco and Teotihuacán but there are many other cool parts to this tour that was super interesting and cool to experience as it was my first time in Mexico City.

Special thanks to the amazing tour guides: ALEXA Y CHRISTIAN (6/17), LEONARDO Y ALEJANDRO (6/18)!

They were amazing so kind and provided so much great information! truly appreciate their guidance in this amazing 2 day tour! THANK YOU!!! I WILL BE BACK TO MEXICO CITY VERY SOON!

Our guides Hector, Emmanuel, and Alan did a great job of guiding and educating us on our 2 day tour. They were very fun and knowledgeable. We had a great time.

I do recommend to eat a big breakfast and take snacks/water with you. Lunch time was a 2. Take sunscreen, hat and sunglasses if possible.

Where to start with Amigo Tours... First off their business model seems to be to buy as many tickets to the Frida Kahlo Museum as possible so there's very few for people looking to go on their own. If you notice the Museum is booked up very far in advance and I suspect it's because this company hoards them. Frida was an activist and women of the people I bet she would be so ashamed that her museum is doing this. Almost everyone on our tour was only there for the Frida museum and I suspect like us, it was only because tickets to the general public were sold out-again because this company buys them in hoards.

First stop on this tour was a silver shop which was an obvious cash grab. Pretty clearly Amigo either also owned the silver shop or was getting kick backs from purchases. I don't really appreciate paying for a tour then getting strung along like that.

Guide did provide some useful info and was kind. But while waiting for the Frida museum to let us know when we could arrived we were taken to a college and walked around. This completely uninteresting and was clearly a way for them to kill time.

I would say avoid Amigo Tours (and please do) but they do a pretty good job of monopolizing the tour industry in Mexico City. Just book your Frida Kahlo tours in advance so you don't have to spend 10 hrs sitting through their tour and only 1 of those hrs is in the actual museum.

They have to rearrange when to visit Teotihuacán, we were there after lunch aroun 2:30 it was so hot we couldn’t even walk around so are other couples
Second day day spent an hour in a jewelry store which was waste of time, Xochimilco was wonderful, then we stopped at a fish rests, there wasn’t any other restaurant around , so we had to eat there, resulted with the food poisoning. Because of wasted time on traffic and jewelry store we only had 15 min in Coyoacán and finished with Kahlo’s house which was good

It was my family first time in CDMX. These 2-day tours were great to visit the all major parts of the city. We learned a lot regarding the history of CDMX and we were able to enjoy all the beautiful sites from Teotihuacan, Xochimilco, Coyoacán. This is a great tour to see Frida Khalo’s Casa Azul. If you’re visiting CDMX for the first time, it’s worth get these tours. Thank you Chris, Alazar, Diana for being some amazing tour guides.
