The Frida Kahlo Museum, called La Casa Azul is the Intimate Universe of Frida Kahlo.
In this house, the artist lived most of her life; initially with her family and years later, with Diego Rivera. Frida wanted to leave her home as a museum, to be enjoyed by her beloved Mexico. For this reason, after her death, Diego organized here, the Frida Kahlo Museum.
Since the Museum’s inauguration in July 1958, the Blue House exhibits the ambiance that inspired Frida for her creation, as well as her personal belongings. Along with paintings by both artists, are displayed popular art pieces, pre-Columbian sculptures, photographs, documents, books, and furniture.
The garden is an essential part of the Blue House and it gives you access to the exhibition of Frida’s Dresses. With this ticket, you'll have the opportunity to enter Frida Kahlo's world and skip the lines at the ticket office.

I booked 2 tickets for the Frida Kahlo Museum. I received a confirmation and my credit card was debited. I had a friend who had tickets so I called to see if I could cancel. I was told I could not cancel and/or receive a refund. I really wanted to see the museum so I did not explore other options as I thought we had firm reservations. I received an email yesterday that my tickets were no longer available and my reservation was canceled. I am devastated as now we don’t have reservations and cannot go to the museum. I would strongly advise not to use this service and book directly with the museum. It is cheaper and probably more reliable. If a travel booking group cannot guarantee your event, there is no point to using them.

We were unable to attend as our plane was cancelled. Tour operator would not refund or exchange for a later day. Disappointing.

The museum and grounds are really inspiring. We walked farther into Coyoacán to the old town square. It was incredibly charming. The other home that Frida shared with Diego in Coyoacan was closed for renovation when we visited but the content of this museum and the experience of the neighborhood were great.

Get in early; tickets run out fast! This was a bucket list visit for me. I have loved Frida's work since writing about her at university. The fact that so many of her things are still in place provides an authenticity that many other experiences don't.
I was moved and impressed and the way the living exhibition is curated gives you an opportunity to really see into her world.

Here's all the information you need to know.
Yes it's a real site where you will get real tickets. As other reviews stated it is a higher price than buying direct from the museum and yes your time might change from what was originally booked.
I was ok with paying more since I waited last minute and all the tickets purchased direct were sold out. You can avoid this by planning ahead and purchasing directly ahead of time.
When I purchased my tickets the time was for 10:30am. The email I received after booking stated that my time was 11:45am and since I knew this could happen I was ok with the time change. So I had planned my day to go to the tour at 11:45am. The morning of the tour at 7:00am I got the actual tickets on what's app and the person who sent me the message said here are your tickets for your 11:45am. Luckily I crossed checked the time on the tickets and the tickets said 10:30. So I messaged the person back to clarify what time it really was. He apologized and said it was 10:30 and not 11:45.
Since it was only 7:00am I was able to get up and have enough time to be out for 10:30. But had I not double checked the time or woken up early I would have missed the time of 10:30am
So long story short, if you do purchase be diligent on checking the actual time on the ticket versus what they tell you.

You will wait in line only a short time, it moves quickly. 30ps charge to take pictures. There is a flow/direction of people but you can take your time.
Beautifully presented space. Any Lover of Frida will be glad by this experience.
