In June 2024, the two of us took the Discover Taiwanese Charms: Jiufen and Shifen Private Day Tour with a tour guide named Mr James Chen. He guided us along the way by providing detailed explanations and history of the places in Jiufen and Shifen. He also took us to a local restaurant so we could taste authentic local food. Considering our limited time, we asked if he could also take us to the 101 tower building and he was happy to take us. He works professionally, kindly and attentively. We recommend that if you go to Taipe, Mr James Chen is the right person to take you on your trip.

We have great time with Berry Chai even though it’s was raining he was ready he got everything from rain coats n umbrella…..he never stop telling us about history all the places that we stop and for lunch bring us to this unique seafood restaurant and stinky Tofu….Berry is high recommended very friendly and he knows about his the history of Taiwan….thank you for everything Berry and hope to see you again.

We had an incredible day seeing the hidden parts of Taipei/Taiwan with our guide Thomas Han. He is so full of energy and so knowledgeable-he explained things to us and got us to important landmarks that you really could not get to on your own with public transportation. Most importantly he explained everything to us and gave us the background to all of the places we visited. We drive with him for 8 hours up into the mountains where these sites were located and he was a very careful and safe driver.
Thomas made our day by taking us to hidden spots we knew nothing about!!
I highly recommend requesting his services when you book this tour!!

My wife and I spent an amazing day with our tour guide James. We visited all of the waterfalls and parks as well as released a lantern and had a wonderful lunch in Shifen. We ended the day in Jiufen. I cant say enough great things about this day. Next time we will go again and spend a half day just in Jiufen as there is so much to see.

We had a great experience, discovering the seaside area around Taipei. We made a trip first to the Golden Waterfall and then to Jiufen and Pingxi, living for 9 hours the real Taiwan. Definitely something to be repeated!

We did a tour with James Chen and he was great! We did the 9 hour tour that include Jiufen. He arrived at our hotel right on time and was super friendly, and even came prepared with water for us! He was very informative and knowledgeable on the tour and answered all our questions. As it got sunnier/windier he was even so kind to even offer a jacket or umbrella. He helped arrange a vegetarian meal for us, being mindful of allergies, helped us communicate with vendors to buy souvenirs, and gave good suggestions of foods to try. He also took pictures of us at all the landmarks! We had a great day tour thanks to him and feel we couldn’t have gotten such a great experience if we had been on our own.

Chia Jung did an excellent job touring us. He has warm personality, loves his job and most of all speaks English very well. He even has the accent of an American English speaker. He is a good conversationalist. He took care of us until the last minute of our tour; and took us lots of pictures too. We will for sure recommend this tour to our friends back home with special mention of Chia Jung as a tour guide. Excellent tour. Perfect 5 stars🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 rate.
