Had a nice time with Gerald as my guide. Traveling solo and looking for something to do for the day I decided a guide could help give me a little history of the site. it was a great few hours and really lovely to have knowledge and insight to where we were. The guide and the group we both a good time. Guide went out of his way to take me in a cab to my next destination -definitely gets a bonus star review 😀
Make sure to show up on time- as tour leaves on time. My ticket was included, which was nice. There was still a line up the mountain and it was hot so make sure to bring water..

A great time! We had a wonderful guide, Luis, who taught us so much about Bogota history. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting.

Francisco, the tour guy, gave a great dual tour in both Spanish anc English. How he was able to keep going and be so detailed is beyond me.

Monserrate is one of the best points of Bogota and doing it with our guide Nati was great as she explained us the history, details of points of interest, and made the whole visit a great experience.
Keep in mind you can stay at the top of Monserrate once the tour ends and come down when you decide (the guide will provide you your ticket that is valid for any time in the same day), so you can stay enjoy the view and also have lunch/coffee before getting down to the city.

The tour was great! Our guide was knowledgeable. You can easily just take the Funicular up to the top of the mountain yourself too though.

Montserrate is clearly iconic, and must see when you visit Bogota. Even if you aren't religious, you can't miss the amazing views of the city from the top of the hill. I found that it was really time saving to get the tour, since the guide already has the tickets and saves time. Also, the tour is full of interesting facts about the side and the city. I definitely recommend this tour.

Excellent experience! The place is very beautiful since I like to visit natural tourist places, the tour was very informative, our guide José Vasquez was sensational, explaining in detail the history of the Monserrate hill, very patient, friendly and willing to clarify any questions. Highly recommended.
