Very interesting self guided tour, however he displays were not in order. It seemed rather random. Staff were professionals helpful

Our family really enjoyed this wonderful hands on museum. They have done a great job of showing us the talent of the artist and the genius of the inventor. The displays are world class. This small museum has a lot to offer and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.

We had no problem trading in our voucher for tickets. However, there was not a line. You can simply walk in and get tickets whenever you want. No need to skip the line.
This was an interactive museum. You can manipulate some of da Vinci’s inventions. They have films that explain some of his works in detail. They also have a case of a few of his actual notebook pages.
My husband and I enjoyed this as a couple but it would also be great if we had our kids with us.

Very interactive - with samples of Leonardo's machines which I could experiment with.
Descriptions were in in English so did not need any audio guide.

Truly enjoyed this museum. It was not over crowded as so many siters were. I loved being able to learn so much about this man!

It is not a museum but a collection of fac similes and reproductions. We travel in darkness, even darkness. We are given a booklet with explanations, of course illegible due to lack of light. Supposedly no lighting for ambiance. I knew I was in a bar or a nightclub, for the atmosphere. The (a little crude) reproductions of certain LDV machines are barely lit, so bring your GSM lamp to see the details. Don't get tricked.

Very fun if you go with children. There are reconstructions of Leonardo's sketches. Several can be touched and manipulated. The price of the family ticket is not bad.
