• A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements
• Large bags and rucksacks are also not allowed inside St Mark's Basilica.
• In case of high tides or religious ceremonies preventing access to the interior of the Basilica, an extended tour of the outside of the basilica will be given instead.
• The Doge’s Palace may also occasionally be closed to the public due to strikes, exceptional closures, state visits, or other special occasions. In that event, a possible alternative may be the Correr Museum in St. Mark’s Square with the Imperial Rooms and Venetian Collection. Entrance included in the Doge’s Palace ticket.
• Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough participants to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund.
• The number of admission tickets available for the interior of St. Mark's Basilica is limited and operates on a first-come first-served basis. In the event of no availability, you will be offered an alternative or full refund.
• On certain dates, most travelers staying outside of Venice who are planning to visit for the day will be required to pay a €5 access fee. For further details (including exemptions) and to learn what days this fee is applicable, please visit: https://cda.ve.it

We did a tour with Antonio in May….I can honestly say after a two week adventure throughout Italy, and many tours under our belt, He was and is hands down the best tour guide ever! He is engaging, charming, witty funny and most of all very knowledgeable. My husband and I did tours in the next 4 cities and no one compared to him. He kept you engaged for the full five hours that we spent with him. Close to the end of out tour time he asked if we would be interested in seeing more sites…. Not one person said no! When we go back to Italy… we will most definitely look him up. If you are looking to tour Venice… He’s your guy! I wouldn't use anyone else, and we have already referred him to other couples that we crossed paths with in Italy and friends when we got home. You can’t go wrong with Antonio.

FABULOUS!!! This tour included all that you wanted to know about Venice and more! Our guide, Antonio, was VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, CHARMING, INTUITIVE, and ENGAGING. It felt as if we were touring the city with a family member. The skip-the-line feature was such an advantage and made the day much less stressful. Antonio was so attentive to the needs of our group, even including a stop to get umbrellas for the unexpected rain. I would definitely book another tour with him and highly recommend to any considering.

Quintessential Venetian charm, easy pace, seemingly limitless historical knowledge and fascinating secret stories!
Our mixed group of ages LOVED this engaging tour. Perfect first day experience with no wait landmark tours as well as recommendations for personal time visits from museums to food! Antonio could be counted on to keep us safe and engaged for the duration of the tour. Tip - if Antonio asks, “would you like to…” the answer should always be yes! Highly recommend!

Antonio is fantastic! Born and raised in Venice, he knows this city like the back of his hand. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and full of fun facts. He even took the time to show us lingering few two more sites after the tour had ended. He’s proud of his city and wants to show it off. I’m so happy I was able to explore Venice with Antonio as my guide. Highly recommend the Venice Deluxe Tour!

Best experience possible.
Antonio provided an absolutely insightful, thorough and historic tour of the important sites of Venice. He also provided information on points of interest such as history of glass, gondoliers, fine dining, artisans and more. One of our group could not navigate stairs and Antonio knew where the staff elevator was and kept us on track. Beyond the tour, Daniela is a gift, aiding in hotels, taxis and more. Very Informative and relaxed tour for two. No one else was signed up for the tour that day so we received the benefit of a personal guided tour. Antonio treated us like friends and spent four hours with us. When Antonio says skip to the front of the line he means it - we walked right in to the venues! I appreciate the time he spent us. He is a great person and informative guide!

A fantastic trip inside and see the Basilica in Venice, with Antonio Barbini as your guide. It was an experience out of the ordinary. Both the Basilica and not least with Antonio, who was both charming but also very knowledgeable in the area, so it was the most exciting church we have seen to date.

We also saw the Doge's Palace, unfortunately not with Antonio as a guide - we regretted that 😊.
