The cooking class was excellent.
Visiting the market was really nice experience.
Don’t book via Viator it is almost 20 US $ mor expensive than everywhere.

Excellent quality tour!
A small group tour with pick up and drop off service. :-) Smiley Cook has a great sense of humor. He picks you up from your hotel and takes you to the market. He explains all about the local ingredients and the produce. This is where you select four dishes off their menu and he will show you around the market explaining as you go.
We then drive a short distance to their home where we meet the family and the group is split into two groups of six. Bung was our instructor, Who was really clear with her instruction and had great technique.
We all cooked our own portion of each dish ( that way you get to choose what kind of heat and flavour you prefer) and altogether sat and enjoyed the beautiful local and traditional Thai dishes.
Their home is set amongst beautiful trees, which was lovely and cool on a hot balmy night. Thanks again Smiley and Bung for sharing your lovely home and culture. A great experience which I highly recommend.

Hotel pickup, air conditioned van taking us to the market with a detailed explanation of fruit, veg, herbs, seafood and chicken used. The group was split with 7 in mine. We decided together, the 4 course menu, to cook and the groups were totally separated. The food for each dish was prepared by the group and cooked once completed. We ate as a group and it all tasted delicious. We were given a dessert, tea and bottled water. It was very organised, techniques were explained, the knowledge was evident. Many staff were running around helping with plates and ingredients. Absolutely recommend this authentic cooking class.

What an amazing cooking class. We were picked up exactly as scheduled and taken for a fascinating market tour then taken to do the actual cooking at a beautiful shaded outdoor area.
We got to choose the 4 dishes we wanted to cook. It moved quickly but not too fast. We had our 10 and 9 year olds with us and they were able to fully participate in the class. The 9 year old got a little personalized help to keep up but she felt like she had done everything herself.
The food and timing were exceptional.

We began at the local market where the chef introduced us to the ingredients and taught us about local flavors. Then we headed to the cooking facility and prepared four dishes: papaya salad, pad thai, fish curry, and cashew chicken. Each dish turned out super delicious. Everything at the cooking stations was well-prepared, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Thanks to the whole team for this unforgettable experience. We can't wait to cook Thai food at home now!

Excellent cookery class.
The booking process was very smooth and we recieved a WhatsApp as soon as we booked, confirming the pick up time form our hotel.
On the day of the class we were picked up from our hotel (on time), and then headed to collect the other participants. It was then off to the market, where we were given a tour and explanation of the ingredients needed to cook the dishes we had chosen.
It was then off to the house/kitchen to prepare and cook the dishes. The instructions were clear and easy to follow and the dishes delicious. After eating, we were returned back to our hotel.
Overall, a very pleasant night. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing time. The chef was really nice and answered all our questions (also about Thai lifestyle) extensively. The dishes were delicious, all products were fresh and the setting was clean. We also had a lot of fun and good talks with the other participants. The driver service was a nice extra.

I honestly don’t cook but love to eat… so thought I would try a Thai cooking class with my husband who does all the cooking at home.
Great to see the market and choose our dishes. Once we got back home all was ready for our adventure.
Mong was very entertaining, knowledgeable and a great teacher. I can’t believe I made my own curry paste and 3 other dishes. Next part we got to eat all we made.
Small classes which is so nice. I highly recommend.
