The park is located 15 minutes from downtown city center of City. It was established in 1945 as the first National Park in Kenya. It is 44 square miles in size and much to everyone's surprise, all the wildlife are free ranging. Within the Nairobi National Park's 117 square kilometers, there are over 80 species of mammals and more bird species than can be found in the whole of the British Isles.

This mini safari was amazing. Our tour guide Black Santa was great. He was very knowledgeable and personable. We got to see lions, giraffes, hippos, rhinos, and a hyena! Along with many more animals. Definitely recommend!

We had great tour with pickup to the Nairobi National Park, Giraffe center with lunch and a break at the Bead making center. It was a great day and we saw many animals up close. Santa, our driver and guide was great, and the open top van was really great for the park!

Black Santa was superb. Anyone looking for a compact, short tour into Nairobi National park, this is perfect.
We squeezed this in during a work trip, and it couldn’t have been better.

Sam is an amazing, knowledgeable guide, we got along very well, I enjoyed his enthusiasm and professionalism to show and tell me as much as possible, without rushing, he enjoys what he does and makes you do too! You feel like part of nature and his friend, not like a tourist. Worth every minute!

This was my second tour with Perfect Safaris and the second time that Black Santa was the guide (I went solo to Amboseli with him few days prior). Incredible day out, we’ve seen a lot of animals that Santa was very knowledgeable about, he was patiently waiting for us to have a good look and take a lot of pictures, and I think except for leopard we’ve seen all the animals in the park (no elephants live in this park). Later we went to the elephant orphanage center which in itself was an amazing experience and Santa took us to Masai community center and a very nice place for lunch after that. We had a very very nice day, thank you very much and thank you Santa once again for being a great guide, super professional and punctual and taking amazing care of us!

Black Santa; our guide was so knowledgeable about the animals, and the entire safari.
He knew all the names and origins, he also knew where to find the Lions.
When coming ask for the guide called Black Santa, he is super cool, he also took us to have lunch and showed us a few souvenir stores too.

This safari is a must in Nairobi. You will definitely see several rhinos and ostriches, among other animals.
