Our guide David was a pleasure to be with for 2 days on this tour. He spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable about the Colombian local culture, places to visit, and helped us customize this tour to our liking and schedule. David was easy to communicate with and gracious enough to adjust our pickup time for the tour and made recommendations for local activities in Jardin. We opted to add-on an ATV tour in the mountains of Jardin (for an extra cost) and David was kind enough to follow up with the local ATV business to ensure we booked a reservation last minute and ask about recommended tours.

Jardin is a beautiful town and the tour actually included the overnight stay here (instead of Jerico). The hotel in Jardin was 2-blocks away from the main church / plaza so it was easily walkable to the town center but also located on a quiet side-street.

The coffee tour was fun to do but just note it does require a bumpy ride on some rural dirt roads. The last section of the road is also only accessible by 4x4 (which the car was not) due to its steep grade so we did have to walk up a steep uphill section for about 5 minutes to reach the plantation. It was hot but definitely worth the effort to reach the top! They serve a complimentary meal with a nice cold sugarcane drink at the plantation so you'll have energy to go back downhill back to the car.

The drive to Jardin is quite long and our guide said we made a good choice in staying overnight. There's so much to do and see in Jardin it's definitely worth staying an extra day if you have the time. I'm glad we chose this tour over the 1-day option.

When we book the 2 days coffee tour, it says in the itinerary that we are going to spend a night at the coffee farm. However, at the end we were staying at a hotel in Jardin. The reason why we choose this tour is because we want to stay overnight at the coffee farm, and we were only informed in the morning when we meet our tour guide. He did try to fix the problem, but it was too late and a bit rush.
The hotel in Jardin is extremely noisy, our room was right next to the plaza, extremely loud disco music and bar noise last until 0130. We did ask the hotel to have our room changed, but hotel staff said it would cost around 20USD, I 'd never experience that a request to change my room due to extremely loud noise would cost "something".
Apart from the the disappointment that we could not stay overnight at the coffee farm, the tour was good, and we did had great fun.
