An absolutely fantastic experience. The segways were easy to use and the staff took the time to teach us all to safely use it. The guides were so knowledgeable and took time to answer all questions and keep us safe. Hit all the highlights of Washington, even told us little stories of where presidents drank or ate or stayed in the city. So worth the money. It was the highlight of our trip.

The first leg of the tour we stayed on sidewalks and pedestrian walkways. This was great as it allowed us to practice maneuvering in general: steering, stopping, speeding, slowing and hardest of all sitting still. By the time we went on the street, I was very comfortable.

Chris was awesome, he kept everyone on track, very knowledgeable, he did a great job. My only suggestion would be to get off at the war memorials to look.

Highlight of my trip! An excellent way to see all of the monuments with a brief explanation and random history facts. The guides were fun and very interactive with the group. They made time for everyone to take a break and go walk to bigger monuments.

It my my first segway ride, a little scary for the first five minutes, but after that it was extremely enjoyable. The training and tips the team gave us was very helpful to master the ride. I enjoyed a large scale of sightseeing without the exhaustion of long walks. I highly recommend it.

Justin and Ty were amazing instructors. They were patient and quelled our fears about managing the Segway for our first time. Such a great way to see the sights!

Our guides were very knowledgeable and interesting. They also gave good suggestions for other sites in DC we shouldn't miss. We covered a lot of ground on the Segways, it was a great overview of the city and monuments.

Arrived at the appointed half hour before our scheduled tour time. Watched a safety video and the team ensured that each person in our group sufficiently confident on our Segway to begin the tour. We were more than comfortable navigating through DC behind our very knowledgeable guide who would sneak in some humor here and there. Ernesto gave us time to disembark and look around at the Lincoln Memorial and the MLK/Basin area, stopping at the other memorials and monuments for brief notable facts about each. Lots of photo opportunities and Ernesto was a great photographer —-plan for pics while on your Segway with helmet on at most places as there isn’t time to disembark at every stop. Segways are not allowed to ride beside the wall so you will stop just up above it for your tour guide to give you the spiel. We plan to go back to these memorials to do a more up close tour.
This was a great way to get a lay of the land—wish we had done this our first day but luckily it’s not our last so we know where we want to go back and see a little more of.
A great evening tour—-bottle of water provided. Don’t miss this if you are in DC! I know you can do the scooters for less—but having Ernesto as a guide makes the Segway -THe way!

Don’t use viator to book the Segway tour as it is a 2 hour tour approx and not a 2.5 hour tour approx is as wrongly advertised by viator. Don’t use them.
