This is a private and exclusive tour, you will only be in the group, there will be no other people. We will be out of the normal tourist circuits, we will visit isolated, peaceful and safe places. in countryside areas away from the city. Full day excursion departing from Palermo and the province. During the tour you will visit Segesta with its perfectly preserved Greek temple. After you will leave for Erice, a unique medieval town located at top of a mountain, In Erice you can also taste the typical almond sweets of local production as well as delicious wines famous all over the world.After the tour you will go down to Trapani around lunchtime, we will go to the restaurant located in the heart of the salt pans where you will taste the traditional Sicilian cuisine. After lunch we will continue the visit of the Saline.

We spent the day with Umberto touring three very different and unique places: Segesto, Erice and Trapini. It’s hard to pick a favorite of the three, but if I had to I would say Erice. This city is very beautiful sitting on top of a mountain. The churches, buildings and castles were non like I had ever seen before. Umberto was very friendly and provided a lot of good information about the places we visited as well as Sicily.

My wife and I had a fantastic day with Umberto, touring Segesta, Erice, and Trapani. He was informative, friendly, and flexible, allowing us to tailor our experience as we wished while offering helpful suggestions.
But he was also very helpful, especially when we needed to swing by the airport to retrieve our lost luggage from the airline. Amazing!
We can’t recommend Umberto high enough - he was FANTASTIC ❗️

Umberto was great. He had a ton of info and knew his way around. The content of the tour was also fabulous. I really enjoyed the day. And Sicily is beautiful.

There were eight of us wanting to visit Erice and Trapani from Palermo so we reserved a day with Umberto. It was a great decision on our part. We had an absolutely wonderful experience and learned a tremendous amount about Sicily and the towns and villages we visited. Umberto was an excellent driver and guide, very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. He even introduced us to Maria Grammatico at the bakery where we were able to indulge in a variety of delicious sweets including her famous genovese cookies. From there we went to Trapani for lunch and then the salt flats before returning to Palermo. I highly recommend Umberto and his tour services.

It was a foggy and rainy day but Umberto and his brother walked with us through the fog to help us picture the beauty of Erice on a clear day. They know their way around Segesta and Trapani. It was our second tour with them and felt very comfortable. There was good balance with showing us the way and leaving us on our own to explore.

Our driver was so professional. We decided to skip the salt mines and spend more time in Erice. One of my favorite places in Sicily. Segesta was also a great experience.

Our Guide Umberto was flexible, helpful and full of information and great stories. At the end of a full day he dropped the 8 us off at 3 locations in 3 diverse parts of town!

Unfortunately the weather was not the best for our visit to Erice because of heavy fog and some light rain but we enjoyed what we could see of this quaint medieval village.. We had a wonderful lunch and we bought some beautiful ceramic souvenirs at the shops. The temple at Segesta was awe inspiring and the Trapani salt flats were interesting. Cristian was on time, knowledgeable, relaxed, and helpful. Definitely would visit Erice again with Cristian in better weather.

Interesting day out, great locations with lots of variety.
Would have liked more info from tour guide whilst travelling from venue to venue. Only one big spiel at the start.
Also tour guide needed to be more assertive with one guest who was 30 minutes late at the start and another 30 minutes late back to coach after visit to Segesta. 50 passengers were left waiting for 1 hour which meant less time at locations and a late return to Palermo which meant evening plans needed to be altered.

Umberto was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and very friendly. He explained everything during his driving about the local food the locals way of life. Mobsters stories and a lot more. He even make a stop to local eatery to buy a local spleen sandwich, uhmmmm delicious. Great guy, great company
