The view was incredible. Going up the mountain was a struggle for us though because we don’t exercise regularly so we had to stop every 2 minutes - but once we reached the top, it was all worth it. Going down the mountain was also exhausting as it was very steep but the scenery was gorgeous. In total it took 2 hours.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU FRIGHT LANDED IN BALI AROUND MIDNIGHT🤔🤔
👉 Got pick up from the airport at 1am and my driver (Putu) drive us all the way to Ubud to catch the amazing SUNRISE !
When we are at the foot of the mountain ...

( get to know that PUTU is the most popular name to name their kid😄)
Our hiking guide PUTU is great !
1. Know all the different routes to the top & back to the foot very well.
2. Very friendly and cheerful ,fun guy .
3. Know all the best spot to take amazing sunrise photo
4. Also a good mobile phone photographer !
5. But what really impressed us most is the
Altitude ! 👍 He treat us like long known friends although we only just get to know him at the foot of the mountain .
He even prepared breakfast for us when we reach the peak! ...
Steam banana spread onto white bread with all bread edges /side remove.👍
( he can don't do it as its not part of his responsibility since there are staff who will do the breakfast preparation )

The trip was great ang going up to mount Batur was really worthy. The views were amazing! Kadek and his team were very patience and waited for us to finish the whole loop.
Kadek also took us to Ubud the next day. He was an excellent guide!
