Jose was a personable and knowledgeable host. He explained ingredients as we shopped at the market and then had us all working to prep them for our dishes. We all learned some new techniques and the food and drinks were all delicious. It was a super fun way to spend part of an evening.

Nice place. Looks like a museum.
Market visit was quick and short. No actual shopping, but we tasted some Mexican snacks.
The cooking part was fund. Each person was responsible to prepare part of the menu.
Drinking the cocktails we made in between the course was fund. The instructor, Ile, had a good control over the course and involved us all.
However, i believe, the course is too overpriced, considering the short time, our partial involvement in cooking the cihse. :

We loved cooking with Jose. The food and drinks we created were delicious. Loved starting off at the market and buying fresh authentic ingredients. Everyone in our group of 8 participated wholeheartedly under our wonderful chef’s guidance. A big part of this experience was also getting to know other travelers and sharing Mexico City experiences. Very highly recommended!

Pros:
- Takes place in an interesting/unique apartment
- did not get sick afterwards
- learned how to make at least one interesting cocktail
- kind and welcoming hosts
Cons:
- Overpriced. It does not feel like enough value is delivered for the cost. It needs to be even more hands on, curated, and actively guided.
- instruction is not well organized or planned. At times it felt like we had nothing to do or could only stand and watch while someone else tended the stove or prepped. Would have liked to hear more about each dish, and would have enjoyed being challenged more readily.
- did not receive recipes although the hosts promised to send them
Summary:
This could be a good experience if more time was put into preparation and scripting each segment of the class. Each participant should be involved in all steps of the recipe. We're there to have a good time and learn how to cook authentic Mexican dishes. Tightening it up and planning more thoroughly would really help. We sincerely liked our instructors and hope they will benefit from this feedback.
