Julio is a knowledgeable guide. There isn’t much left of Jewish historical artifacts, due to various pogroms and other anti-Semitic movements over the centuries. He gave a good description of the previous neighborhood and streets, explaining the movement of the populace and inhabitants.

This was an amazing tour—our tour guide, Julio, took us around Santa Cruz and gave us so many little interesting facts while also telling us about the overall Jewish history in Sevilla. Julio was super attentive, kept us engaged, and spoke about the non-Jewish history of the town as well. The tour was a bit over an hour long, and we would highly recommend doing this tour.

Julio the guide made the tour interesting. The Jewish Quarter is subtle in its impact so a very good guide is essential. I learned a lot about Jewish history in Sevilla.

Guiding us through the narrow and beautiful streets, Julio led a compelling, fun, and thorough tour and spoke in a way that worked for adults and engaged kids alike. We learned lots of the Jewish history of Seville (our focus). He's an excellent storyteller and answered all of our questions. For a family interested in learning, it's way better than trying a self-guided tour. Highly recommend!
