The Douro Valley, World heritage and one of the oldest wine producing regions in the world, has unique landscapes and delicious treats ready to amaze you.
This region is home of the famous Douro Wine, specifically the Port wine.
As soon as we arrive we will sample the amazing treats that the valley has to offer: almonds, its traditional bread and its delicious honey, all paired with Douro´s red, white and rosé wines.
Then, we will head to the Pinhão train station, where you can see the history of Douro's wine industry in typical blue&white portuguese tiles. You can also go for an optional boat ride.
After, we will visit a family-owned winery with access to an exclusive lunch menu with all included and paired with White, Red and Port Wines. After lunch you will have a Port Wine tasting in which you will sample several different years.
Before arriving in Porto, we will visit Amarante, for a final tasting of its treats.

Anyonio’s welcome was professional and warm. The experience was varied and incredibly generous throughout. Huge amounts of giggles (partly facilitated by the rest of the group). The drive by Antonio was in itself something worth remembering! The drive back after copious amounts of wine could only be described as hilarious and high energy.
As for the wine tasting itself and the food accompaniments - this was exceptional. The green wine in its raw state was not to everyone’s taste but I enjoyed it. The meats and cheese that accompanied it had the most aromatic smoky paprika smell.
The vineyards were small family affairs - well explained, absolutely no pressure to buy. The settings at each venue were very different. The lunch was authentic and the cod fish very tasty. Three courses were welcome! There was an alternative vegetarian or meat choice. The hosts incredibly generous with their food and wine.
You can’t visit Porto without a trip to the Douro Valley!

We thoroughly enjoyed the whole day. The wines, the food, and the places we visited were all excellent, as was our tour guide Tiago. He was entertaining, knowledgeable and took care of us very well.
We particularly liked that this trip was a small group of no more than 8 people. The minibus was able to get to beautiful places that I doubt a larger coach party would be able to do.
The scenery of the Duoro valley and the river was spectacular - we are so glad that we took a day trip out of Porto to see some of the surrounding areas and taste some beautiful port and wine in lovely locations, with good company and a great host - thank you Tiago.
I would highly recommend this trip.

What a fun day! We met new friends, saw so much of the Douro valley, and tasted wine from all over the Valley (and olive oil, and cheeses and meats and breads and more!) Our guide, Jose, was so knowledgeable and lovely - highly recommend!!

We had an absolutely wonderful time on this tour and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit the Douro Valley. Julio was a fantastic tour guide, very friendly and welcoming and also very informative, we learnt a lot throughout the day through his facts and expertise and all whilst managing to make us laugh and also interact as a group. From the olive tour to the wineries, we couldn’t fault our day and thought the price of the tour was exceptionally reasonable considering all that was included. Our personal highlight was the last stop of the tour and also meeting some lovely people along the way! Thanks so much Julio and the rest of the team for making our trip to Porto that extra bit more memorable.

One of the most beautiful experiences! Our guide Tiago was also incredible. Not only to us but to every staff member we interacted with at our different stops. He went above and beyond for everyone he interacted with to elevate the entire experience for our group.

On time pick up from convenient downtown location. Van was clean and comfortable. Guide Pedro is charming and considerate. Water provided. Tour is well organized, locations are excellent, food and wine top notch. Add the boat tour. A relaxing opportunity to enjoy the views from a different perspective. Added information on olive oil production and tasting unexpected bonus. 10 out of 10 stars

The Douro Valley Tour was wonderful. We went with a group of 6, 4 adults and 2 teenagers. The weather was fantastic so we were able to fully appreciate the beauty of the Douro Valley and its surrounding villages. The roads were narrow and winding so extremely glad we had an experienced driver leading us! The wine, olive oil and honey were all much better than we had anticipated. We purchased some bottles to send home.
Joao S. was fantastic. He was knowledgable, fun, patient, a good driver :) and like going on a tour with a friend. We highly recommend him.
