I tried leaving this review on google but every time i submit it disappears so trying here instead.

Everything was so lovely, we loved the ocean tunnel and the seal show was great!

All staff were amazing but Bree stuck out, she gave amazing directions throughout the aquarium when we asked for help and she brightened our day as we exited with her welcoming smiles and enthusiastic attitude.
As we were looking at our photos she was offering every kid a sticker that walked through, leaving smiles on every one of them.
Truely amazing, thank you for the wonderful day!

Will definitely be back here again :)

As parents with two little kids, I can wholeheartedly say that our visit to SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast Aquarium was well worth it. The ocean tunnel was a highlight, and watching my kids' faces light up as sharks and rays swam overhead was priceless.

Visiting Australia and my friend wanted to come back to the sea life aquarium as they had visited a few years before. The tickets are quite overpriced for the experience in my opinion, the aquarium could use some modernising to maximise the space and experience and reflect cost. We finished the experience in under 2 hours. The gift shop was also quite expensive. The food on offer was good and reasonably priced. The aquarium appeared to be targeted towards children as opposed to all ages. However the do have a wide range of sea creatures to see which is worthwhile! The seal show was impressive as the keepers clearly have bonds with the animals but again more targeted at children then all ages. The best part was the underwater tunnel and being able to see different sea life living together. The sea life aquarium does have a great ethos and mission to preserve, rehabilitate and care for sealife which is admirable and comforting to know when you visit.

Terrible. Many attractions such as crocs, turtles, lungfish, barramundi and otters gone. Seal show is half what it used to be. Place is very old and dated. Daughter couldn’t use her pocket money at the shop as no cash is accepted. Many exhibits exhibits are half of what they used to be. The underwater tunnel is had fewer and fewer fish. Used to have a lot more reef fish and different species but now just plain boring. If you went 3-4 years ago - it about half of what was there now. Had to wait 3o minutes to get in the place with the line up around the corner stretching for 150m. Very slow to get. Overall very disappointing experience. We’ve been probably a dozen or more times in 30 years and it is absolutely nowhere near what it used to be.

After a 3 hour drive from Northers NSW especially to take my son here it started with myself in tears. My bank card had become corrupted I am awaiting a new one. I went to pay for entry with cash and was told I couldn’t. I cried because I didn’t think I had any way to pay any other way. I remembered I had an old travel eftpos card that still worked and luckily my partner could transfer funds to it, others may not be so fortunate. Sea life are a cashless business. Which is disgusting. Cash is our countries legal tender, our legal currency is no good in sea life’s eyes, Just because banks and the government keep forcing down our throats the idea of a cashless society, does NOT mean we should be forced to not be able to use cash, it is legal tender. It didn’t stop them for begging for coin donations though did it.

If you appreciate being coerced go right ahead.

If I hadn’t driven so far I’d have just left, I have park passes for all the parks on the GC who DO take cash and actually offer a decent venue with quality shows etc.

This place had very few things to see, tiny corridors (picture prams everywhere gridlocked) The seal show (main attraction) was so short, I’d say lucky to be 15 minutes long. Overall, very disappointing experience.

I wish I had just left and saved my money to be honest. My son liked the little stingray pool at the beginning and the fishies, that’s all.

We enjoyed our walk through with loads of interesting sea life to watch.
We watched the seal display which was entertaining.
Nice activity to do on a cooler or wet day.
Was probably more expensive than we'd thought it might be but then again the sea life have to be fed and kept in perfect conditions and along with all the staff probably was good value for the money.

We visited for the first time in a while, with my 18 month old son. We took a travel pram with us throughout the aquarium, which we were assured would be no problem.

We arrived just in time for the seal show, which required us to leave our pram outside. When I went to collect the pram after the show as I was told to do, the main doors were closed so they could take photos, and I had a panicked few minutes working out how to get back to my family. Keep this in mind if you have a pram and you want to see any of the shows - it would be very stressful to be separated from young children.

The show itself was great and we really enjoyed seeing all the animals. We will definitely be back again in the future, but won't bring a pram as it's much easier to get around without one. There are also some great play areas for smaller children which my son absolutely loved.

Wonderful display of Sea life.

Great array of aquatic life to see and watch.

Has a large indoor play area so parents can take a seat for a while

The annual pass discounts are very welcomed.

Even the scuba divers cleaning the aquarium gave a friendly wave

Great Aquarium to visit. We find it can get very busy at certain times especially in school holidays so I'd recommend visiting later in the morning or after lunch. The shows will definitely be less busy in the afternoon or do what we do and skip the shows, that's when it's best to explore, have lunch at the cafe or let your kids play in the playground.

This is a fair sized Aquarium with a good variety of animals and good demonstrations. It is a little smaller than Melbourne or Sydney aquariums but it still a good day out with kids both big and small
