The standard raft is a great option for larger families or people looking for a more stable (but still fun) option. They will still hit the big waves of Kahuna and Lunch Counter, so be prepared to paddle hard and get soaked.

What a great way to spend time with our 3 boys of all ages - 22, 19 and 7. We hopped on Dorothy’s bus for a quick 30 minute drive to the raft launch site. She kept us entertained and informed on the way there and back with facts about the area, stories and lively music. Zack, our awesome river guide, was equally entertaining and informative, throwing in a few bad jokes for good measure. From navigating through rapids to jumping into the cold water to cool off, this was an excellent experience!

This company is on the ball! They are organized, professional, and customer-centered. We all had a blast and it was because of a beautiful day in a beautiful place with great equipment and a guide who cared to learn our names and treat us like we were his only group of the day. We would definitely do it again. My 10 and 11-year-old said it was the highlight of our trip!

Our family of 6 (grandparents in their 70s, adults in their 40s and kids 8 and 10) loved our white water rafting trip. The online waiver process was simple and we loved being able to get fitted for our wetsuits and being picked up directly from our lodging (Snake River Park Cabins). Our guide, Eagan, was knowledgeable, answered all our questions, helped us to feel safe, and was encouraging. Most of all, Eagan made the trip really fun! He pointed out wildlife (we saw a bald eagle, several osprey, and a deer) and explained the various rapids. The adults all paddled and the kids enjoyed the ride. The grandparents were worried about the trip being strenuous, but they were able to do it just fine. No one went into the water, but Eagan made us feel confident about what to do should that have occurred. Two different photo companies took pictures of our boat while we went through Lunch Counter and they turned out really great - it’s cool that we were able to be present and fully experience it, while also have the photos of it to take home. Our bus driver was helpful, they gave us ample time to change into dry clothes at the end and stuck really close to the 3-hour trip schedule. We brought snacks to eat on the bus drive back from the trip, which came in handy since they don’t offer food.

First time whitewater rafting and our guide and others in the raft did not disappoint us. It was fun going thru the rapids. It was a lot of fun getting to know others in our raft and that is a testament to Alex our guide. We look forward to doing this again.

My family loved this trip! We appreciated being able to check in and get picked up at the place we were staying (Snake River Cabins). The check in process and wetsuit rental process was smooth, and the bus on time. Our guide Eagan was kind, knowledgeable, and highly capable. He did a good job of explaining the safety precautions and we learned a lot about the river and wildlife throughout the trip. The rapids were the best part!

This was a great experience! We loved the staff from the ladies at Alpine RV Resort that helped put us in our wetsuits (lol), to the bus driver and especially our guide Zach! We are in our late sixties and were a little worried about how high the river was and the fact that we had to wear wetsuits in case we fell in because the water was so cold. That sounded scary!! But Zach’s experience got us through the roughest of waters with fun and excitement!! The water was indeed cold but no one fell in! The Lunch Counter rapid was especially exciting!! All that being said, we were not aware of the long walk uphill after the rafting experience. Our friend has COPD and it was very hard on him walking up the hill. I feel like that portion of the experience is strenuous and people should have a heads up about it. Other than that we highly recommend this experience!!

Twas a sunny afternoon, the smiling faces of the wooden bears greeted my gaze as I strolled up to the rafting office. We were quickly shuttled to the river and taken on a mind altering journey. Our guide taught us, led us, and managed to rapid fire quips along the way. Together we braves the rapids and sought conquest over the raging river, hoisting our raft upon the shore I reflected upon the experience. the only words that came to mind were, “Raft.”
