Visite réalisée le 25 juin 2024. Très intéressant, beau et grand zoo, avec des biomes adaptés et respectueux des animaux. La partie des animaux australiens était vraiment cool et ça faisait plaisir de déambuler près des koalas et des kangourous. Le parc en lui-même est déjà une pronomenade ! Facile d'accès avec les transports en commun juste en face du zoo.

It was a nice visit to the zoo, but it would have been nice to see more animals. Many exhibits only had one animal in them, some had none.

We do not mind to pay extra entrance fees for this Melbourne Zoo, however, it looks like not upgrading or renovation lots. Only one small tidy baby Koala and one lion we can see, I could not even see any penguins or tiger inside the zoo.
I can see the photos showing them in the Zoo but it is hard to see the real animals.
Most of the famous animal only showing ONE species.
Also, those Melbourne Zoo staff are very on time to finish work, I think I can see more staff working there rather than more animals there.
I think Melbourne Zoo need to do more upgrade and add more extra animals to attract us to walk in there.

The zoo was very open and easy to walk in, every staff was very hopeful. However there is more than enough space in the zoo and there was still many animals that were either “sleeping” or “inside”, even thought that is very understanding there should be more information about it for visitors and maybe in the future provide other options for when animals are not showcased.

Melbourne zoo would have to be one of the best zoos to visit. The habitats are carefully thought out to offer the best for both animal and visitor. There are plenty of places to get food or bring your own. Lots of different animals you don't see at other zoos.

We had a fun day out at the zoo! It was really easy to access from the tram station! We paid for tickets online and got into the zoo easily. The animals looks well cared for and the staff knew a lot about them. We watched the giraffe talk and hippopotamus talk. The volunteers around the park were also very helpful asking if we needed help or had any questions!
We ate lunch at the macaw takeaway and the food was good but quite simple (watch out for seagulls)

Nice and friendly for kids family. The Dino trail is fantastic! The food is excellent as well. Everywhere has rest places.

My only negative review about the zoo was that when we walked to the animal enclosure some of them had signs saying animals not on display. It would have been more helpful for the signage to be at the entrance before you walk to the enclosures.
The zoo has such lovely gardens and well kept.
There are lots of great educational children activities to do throughout the zoo that relate to the attraction you are visiting.
We stopped at the giraffe cafe and was lucky to get a table to watch the giraffes, just gorgeous.
Ordered an iced latte, was a bit ordinary and the hot chocolate wasn't that hot.
But overall reasonable prices.
Highlights wee seeing the lemurs, butterfly house for the children, orangutans, snow leopards and lions plus so much more.
With little ones there's plenty of places to stop and have a break and a few playgrounds.
Really easy to get there from the city by either train or tram.
Children free during Victoria school holidays so that's a definite bonus.
