The food related part was of nice and fun, but it was much more than a "food" tour. Our guide Derya was very knowledgeable and warm, and was a great source of knowledge and insight on local history, sights and culture.

Our guide, Furkan, was outstanding! Extremely knowledgeable and fun. We enjoyed a variety of Turkish food and drinks. It was the highlight of our Istanbul visit.

Derya was amazing!! It’s like we made a new friend, and had an beautiful time exploring the city while eating all kinds of food. She was mindful of our diet restrictions, and genuinely wanted to see us happy and enjoying ourselves. Highly recommend for a private food tour!

It was our first time in Istanbul. The food tour with Furkan was an abolute highlight of our 3 days in Turkey! The tour was a wonderful introduction to Istanbul's rich culinary culture in the Asian and European side. From the start we realise that Furkan will go above and beyond to make the tour unforgettable! He is so knowledgeable and pleasant and kind! Every minute we spend together was precious! We taste the most interesting dishes - even "tribe" as we know it in South Africa...The coffee tasting with the "swinging tray" was a first - in a place where we on our own won't get to...This tour with Furkan as tourguide is a must for every visitor to Istanbul! His wife, Deraya, specially make time for a coffee with us the next day which we appreciate very much. It was good to see the Husband and Wife team together! I highly recommended this tour!

Our private food tour of Istanbul was fabulous!! Learning the history of Turkey through food is not only ingenious but interesting AND delicious. Furkan, our guide is incredibly knowledgeable, very pleasant, and he left us wanting to know more. We give the tour and Furkan 10 out of 10!! We highly recommend you do this if you visit Istanbul!! Derya and Furkan were amazing hosts / guides throughout our stay in Istanbul. The food tour was amazingly done by Derya and I loved everything we ate and her amazing recommendations on the local side of Turkey as well as the tourist locations. There are no words for how above and beyond Derya went throughout our stay in Istanbul. Amazing time spent in an amazing country and my group and I cannot say enough great things about Derya and our trip. Can’t wait to come back!!

Furkan makes you feel very comfortable and safe as he guides you in and around the city. He is knowledgeable, kind, and personable with a great sense of humor and incredibly patient with kids. He also recommended lots of things to do or us to see on our own time. We arranged for two days of private custom tours in Istanbul for 7 people. We enjoyed the chauffeur, the culture, traditions, culinary experience, religious and heritage sites that were in our detailed itinerary. Furkan navigated us around the key places in Istanbul on our first full day and day 2 food testing in the Asian and European sides in Istanbul. The whole family loved the trip. My family and I would not hesitate to recommend this travel company to our family and friends.
