Quick, no problems. They loaded us into bus early. It was rainy, windy and cold outside, so that was extra nice.

I booked at 4:15 at the airport desk for 5:15 van and was given a receipt/ticket that listed departure at 6:15. The bored teen behind the desk said the time on the receipt didn’t matter. I was not offered a round trip option. As I left the terminal at 5:05 to walk to the van that had arrived and was waiting to go to Reykjavik, a man came after me and told me that the 5:15 trip had been canceled and the next one would be in an hour - 6:15. I went next door to the Flybus desk and was offered a round trip price, drop off and pick up at my hotel, on a full sized tour coach. It appeared a much more professional operation. The coach was leaving immediately so I didn’t have time to ask for refund from Airport Direct so I ate the cost. Maybe there would have been a 6:15, or maybe I would have been pushed back to 7:15? I’ll never know.

Left on time and arrived slightly early with no issues, would have like there to be USB slots on the bus.

Needs to be more traveler-friendly and better signs. Also, make sure you have a smart route included. We didn't know that our tickets were only to the main station. Once we got there, we were not offered options to purchased the extension. We had to walk under the rain for over a mile to our hotel. No helpful or friendly at all.

Bus driver was the rudest person we encountered in Iceland. This is overpriced because we were dropped at a far bus depot and still needed to pay for a taxi to get to hotel. For $20 more we could have gotten a direct taxi to hotel.

The transfer was fine and the driver was great. However, there was no information on any of the booking details, the website or email confirmations and updates to say three companies were working together. We were waiting for the Airport Direct Bus, a big orange easily spotted vehicle which was sitting there. We had no was of knowing our booking was passed over to the Destination Blue Lagoon bus. As a result the DBL bus left whilst we were stood there like idiots as it left. The actual Airport Direct bus was due to leave an hour later, so not only had we missed the bus expecting us but we then had to wait unnecessarily for an additional hour. Such a stupid and avoidable thing to have been allowed to happen through the absence of up to date and USEFUL information that actually matters to visitors from another country… which I’m fairly sure is a core reason we choose what we think are trust worthy companies. Please get your act together!!!

Easy transfer. Although, keep in mind this is only to the main bus terminal and not to any hotel, as that will be extra. Did not know when booking, so had to hoof it to town with bags. No worries though.

Worst service. Booked as transport to Blue Lagoon. Booked for one way and they didn’t pick us up on time and told us that we were not on time and left without us. Then they rescheduled us for a time that the blue lagoon was closed. When we brought this up they basically hounded us for not having what they called common sense. Then they told us that our return was basically useless since our return was schedule for two hours after the blue lagoon closed. If you go with them go with a lot of time to anticipate issues and without any customer service

We were scheduled for the 8:15 am bus but got there early and they held the 7:15 am bus for us (we got there by 7:17 am). They tracked down the bus driver and he waited. Note that in all situations you have to transfer to another bus at the bus terminal to take you to a bus stop near your hotel.

No drop off in city centre, stuck without onward transport. I had understood that there would be options for various drop off points but told this ticket only allowed me to be dropped at edge of town. No public transport connections from this stop. Inconvenient and long walk with luggage to accommodation.
Bus itself left on time.
