This was an excellent tour with a great guide! Bertrand struck a great balance of providing general information to the group as a whole and also more in-depth information to those who wanted it, and he was great with answering the many questions that our boys had.

For a bus tour, we had an amazing guide. He knew his stuff, all the stories and back stories. Unlike any other tour we've been on, he had a large-screen tablet on which he showed us photos to supplement many stories, walking among us to show the screen while he talked. He apologized for his French-accented English, but we had no trouble at all understanding him. I believe his name was Bert.

We took this tour because my husband is a history/WWII buff- honestly, it would not have been my choice. However, I ended up loving it! Normandy is beautiful making the drive enjoyable. Our tour guide, Caroline, was very knowledgeable and clearly enjoyed history. She was able to tell us all about the 80th anniversary events and mentioned several of the museums in the area. She was also able to talk about some of the changes made at some of the sites. It never felt like she was reading from a script, just that she was telling a story. My only complaint is that I would have liked to learn more about Normandy in general, but that was not the point of the tour.

Exceptionally good tour, I highly recommend it. Our tour guide, Bertrand, was absolutely amazing. He provided so much information and insight and illustrated things with photos on his Ipad that he supported with backstories of individuals involved. A very compelling and humbling tour, so many heroes that fateful day 80 years ago. An absolute must see.

The only reason I give this tour 5 stars is because there is no option to give it 6. The tour was exceptionally informative and interesting. Our guide, Bertrand was the star of the show, he was very friendly, funny and sincere. You could feel his passion for the area and the history of the DDay invasion in the stories that he told and illustrated with photos on his Ipad that he shared with the group. A must do for any American.

This was an outstanding tour! Seeing the Normandy Beaches has been on my bucket list. Bertrand was an excellent tour guide, providing background information and stories at each stage of the excursion, and being a most congenial host. Baguette lunch was just right and Bertrand surprised us at the end with sparkling wine to conclude what was a memorable trip. Joelle was an excellent bus driver, getting us into tight places, and finding parking as close as possible to our sites.

The tour guide Bertrand was wonderful. Bertrand had photos at each stop and interesting historical facts. He changed our route so we could actual see the beach at Omaha before high tide. The craters left by the Allied Forces bombing were incredible. For lunch, We received a baguette ham and cheese sandwich, chips, dessert, and a water. We ate in this quaint park. After lunch we went to a German cemetery with the final stop at the United States cemetery. I can’t described how much the entire tour meant to me.

Pierre was our guide and did an excellent job! Excursion was a very somber experience- my father was an American soldier who came through Normandy weeks after D-Day so it was amazing to see where he was 80 years ago.
