We had an absolutely amazing tour with Gabor. He turned out to be the perfect guide for us. He drove us through the hustling and bustling city with a great coolness, so that we really could relax and enjoy. His knowledge about the city, its sights and the history of Hungary was profound and entertaining at the same time. He also send us very good recommendations about where to eat/dine after we had left him. Perfect guide!

Highly recommend Gabor for tours of Budapest. Gabor is very kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable, and his vehicle is very comfortable and spacious. I did a half day tour with Gabor and having already seen some of the sites around Budapest he was able to customize my tour to cover things I had not seen. Throughout the tour, he taught me a lot about the history and culture of Hungary and its people. In addition, he showed me hidden gems and things around Budapest that even many of my Hungarian friends who had lived in the city for years did not know. He very clearly enjoys sharing his knowledge with guests and meeting new people; it makes the tour experience very fun as a guest to have a guide who is not only knowledgeable but very clearly enjoys his job. Lastly, his command of the English language is excellent: he is very easy to understand and communicates complicated concepts clearly and succinctly.
TLDR: If you’re looking for a fun and comfortable tour of Budapest through time and want to learn about the history and culture of Hungary, take a tour with Gabor.

Gabriel is Excellent as Our guide was incredibly knowledgable and gave us a fantastic day in Budapest. We learnt about history, art, culture and much more. We are well traveled and have high standards, and we were very happy with our tour guide - he was great and spoke excellent English. Time and money well invested.. My Dad who is 77 years old was happy with Gabriel... Thank You for the recipe books you gave us and Good Luck...

Gàbor picked us up on time with his very clean new van. He has a very deep knowledge of the city, he drove us through the main sightseeings very slow so that we can enjoy the view.
Gàbor was always very patient and adapted the tour to the guests needs, helping us finding a nice cafe to sit down.

A morning of education. Had no clue so much happened here in Budapest. Nor did I realize there was so much to see.
Spent the morning being driven to various sites of historical value, to them leave the vehicle gaming a closer look as most of sites are pedestrianized.
We chose the sites we were most interested in and our driver - Gabrielle added anything of significance relating to our chosen spots of interest.
Our 4 day break was not enough to see all points of interest.
Well worthwhile to have a private guided tour definitely. A big YES from me. Aim to come again for the rest we missed out on.

Gabrielle knew his stuff. Opened our eyes (husband and I) to the history of Hungary taking us on an adventure partially chosen by ourselves. We knew what we wanted to see, he made sure it all linked up historically. A well spent morning finishing with a must have chimney cake. Beauty, tragedy and indulgence. Thank you for a worthwhile trip.
P.s. not all the time was spent in the car. A fair bit of walking too, but that is by choice to get up close.

Gabor picked us up at the entrance to the Parliament building and drove us over to Buda to see the Castle, the old town and an amazing vantage point where we watched sundown over the city. He left us 4 hours later at Gellert Thermal baths (after arranging a true Budapest bathing experience). Amazing knowledge of Hungary and how it has evolved - specifically during the 1900's onwards. He took us through all the milestones that shaped the city. the architecture, the way people think and live today. We really enjoyed it - knowledgeable, thoughtful trip tailored to our needs and Gabor knows where to track down the best sour cherry strudel as well. Very worthwhile and value for money too.
