The ATVs was the most memorable of this vacation. I really needed this vacation because mostly I am mostly to myself and sometimes I am depressed because I be thinking about this worldly life consuming me.

So fun! My husband and I did a morning ATV adventure and were put in a group with four other women. They supply helmets, but you'll definitely want to bring sunglasses or goggles as well as a bandana or neck gaiter to cover the lower half of your face. Some of the trails are dusty, and some are muddy--some REALLY muddy! My husband and I were both glad we wore our hiking boots, which were covered in mud by the end of the tour. Our guide gave us wet towels to clean up with at the end of the tour, and he hosed off our boots as well.
The trails themselves go through open meadow, through forests, and beside a couple bodies of water--very scenic! There are definitely stretches of trail where you get close to max speed, so you can't be timid.
They don't take AmEx. Bring cash to tip your guide.

I would never book this excursion again. Customer service is horrible ! The lady who check us in if very rude, nasty attitude, didn’t want to help. On Viator is says check in is 2:15pm-2:30pm. False advertising, we was told we came too early. It didn’t even start at 3pm. Unorganized ! While riding the atv, the atv kept stopping which wasn’t fair on my end. I paid almost $150 and for the atv to keep stopping. My instructor was very nice but he kept driving off. When I got stuck I kept calling him but he was no where to be found. Another thing my horn wasn’t working which is very dangerous. 2/10 I would not recommend.

This was an exciting adventure that no one would ever forget. It was a large group of about 25 or more us. I took off a star because we received misleading information prior to booking saying that we could ride together. This is not true, there are 6 atvs per instructor. Also if you book separately, which we did you may have strangers mixed in with your group, which is what exactly happened with us. Even if we were going 6 atvs per time but with each other that would have been understandable, however that wasn’t the case because it was too late to correct as they already assigned everyone in groups. We were suppose to all meet up midway for a pic, and that didn’t happen either. Again we did call a grad of time weeks before arriving and booking to be clear.

It's a beautiful place, definitely a must-see, and do when visiting Puerto Rico! Our guide, Hector was friendly and patient, especially with me being the nervous and slow one of the group. It was amazing!

This was my second time going to Hacienda Campo Rico to ride the ATVs. We had so much fun! The trails are awesome. You are going to get muddy, so make sure you wear appropriate clothing.
