Story telling with a local guide: A unique outdoor experience learning the historical highlights of Los Cabos and the Californian peninsula.
This tour is part of a community project. This tour is part A of a 2 part Tour.
In this 1.5 hour sightseeing tour (1 mile, wheelchair and stroller friendly), we will walk and learn about the history, culture and legends such as the peninsula`s geology, how the natives lived, how colonization took place, about thieves, the San Jose del Cabo mission church. Part B for another day we cover the battle at the main square, hotels, famous celebrities and more.
Starting on Álvaro Obregón Street in heart of the Art District (downtown San José del Cabo). Reservation required.
Group size:
There are 15 spots max available on this experience.You don’t have to fill all of them. Experiences are meant to be social, so other travelers could join too.
You can join the tour even if you are alone. so if you have trouble booking online just give us a call.

The tour was really enjoyable and enlightening. Kristian delved deeper into the history of San Jose del Cabo than most tours. I would definitely checking it out!

Kristian showed us some fun hidden gems in San Jose Del Cabo and enlightened us as to the city’s rich history and founding story, including interesting info about the cathedral in the town square. Highly informative and enjoyable!

We are fans of walking tours for painless/interesting learning, and this one was no exception. Kristian shared his knowledge and love of the town, and we heard stories, history and information we would not have learned without the tour, and saw spots we would have not seen otherwise. With a better understanding of the context and culture comes an enriched enjoyment of the area. Take the tour!

Our tour guide, Chris was extremely knowledgeable in the history, culture and geography of the Cabo De San Jose region. His stories were engaging and helped me understand the development of the people, architecture and traditions of the region. I highly recommend this tour. It is well worth your time and money.

Watching part of the Catholic mass. I enjoyed hearing about the history of how the Jesuits spread Catholicism throughout the west coast through the Missions.

I can’t say enough good about my walking historic tour of Los Cabo’s yesterday with Cristian. What a wonderful experience! He is 7th generation local native, it doesn’t get more real than this! What I learned you can’t get from a book. From architecture, archeology, legends, traditions, culture, languages, food, the lists go on and on. So much more to learn about this fascinating little town, the “behind the curtain” as he calls it. This is only one segment of three parts! I’m in! Sign me up! Thank you Cristian, I hope to help you spread the word about this gem of a town and its precious resources.
