See Florida’s famous flamingos as well an abundance of other native animals and plants when you visit Flamingo Gardens in Ft Lauderdale. Observe animals such as alligators, panthers and peacocks, and stroll through lush gardens filled with butterflies and hummingbirds, ancient oak trees, orchids and bromeliads, and more. Walk into the large open aviary where birds fly free and check out the Wray Museum, which shows a typical South Florida home from the 1930s.

Very fun time, many beautiful birds, animals. The peacocks roaming around was amazing to see. The guided tour was nothing spectacular, but it was nice to see and hear about the beautiful history of the land. If you have younger children I highly recommend. Bring lots of water as it can get very hot with all the walking.

Feeding the flamingos, the informative free tram tour, botanical gardens, and educational animal encounters. All around a fantastic day!

Very enjoyable. I was able to see the birds close up. Birds and cages well maintained. No smell. Flamingos were the best! Presentations were interesting. Would like to go again.

The free flying white Ibis and peacocks were fun to watch roaming and calling out to each other. The colorful orchids and bromeliads were also gorgeous.

Too good. We loved everything and especially going with the children was the best.
Different birds came, we fed the flamingos, we bought jams at the inland market. We saw a show of rescued animals that are now restored.
Time flies.
The real Pacos are everywhere decorating the entire environment. This was a worthwhile outing.
