We start our tour in Coimbra. The first capital of the kingdom of Portugal still keeps its historic neighbourhoods as well as one of the oldest universities in the country. Considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, this thriving academic centre, allows you to stroll through narrow streets and ancient stone walls.
Then, we head to the Portuguese Venice. As the nickname indicates, Aveiro has an estuary that allows you to take lovely trips on a moliceiro boat. An obligatory stop in the city, is also to do a tasting of the famous Ovos moles.
On this tour you can also visit Costa Nova, an area known not only for its privileged location between the sea and the estuary, but especially famous for its colourful striped houses.

We had an absolutely wonderful day exploring with our fabulous driver Bernardino Sousa. A very polite, patient and happy man who showed us the awesome sights and introduced us to a wonderful lunch of suckling pig. Thank you Bernie we had an awesome day 🇵🇹🙏🙂
