We had the most amazing experience on our four day Inca trail tour. Our guides William Elvis and Sebastian’s were incredibly caring, knowledgeable and hospitable. The chef, Balbino exceeded all of our expectations, three course meals at all times :) Alejandro and his team of porters were great too, working so hard to make sure we had a great experience. I could not recommend TreXperience and this team enough. A must do trip from anywhere in the world 🌍 (Kiwi Travellers)

We had a great time on the Lares trek. Far from the beaten track and the crowds, the landscapes are magnificent, the difficulty is not very great which allows you to enjoy the trip, the team is at the top and we have always eaten very well. Our guide Edy is very invested and passionately transmitted to us the history and culture of the Lares valley. This is a real positive point.
The visit to Machu Picchu was superb. Edy told us the legend of the site with such an investment that we took a leap into the past. We would still have liked to have been there first thing in the morning.
Important for us and perhaps for you too, the agency employs a local team and allows us to support the local economy by visiting different villages in the valley. We were thus able to make a small donation to a family.
Thank you for this memorable stay.

This trek sets up a fantastic combination of local culture, amazing views, and worthwhile hiking. What really stood out in this experience is the cultural experience with the locals and this was elevated by our guide Edy Pumachua. Edy speaks the local Quechua language and introduces the group to the locals at each of the camp sites. Our cook, Beltran, prepared three course meals every night while above 13,000 feet. The food was amazing and I think I gained weight while hiking 9 miles a day. In this trek you will see views you never knows existed, meet people from a time in the past, and enjoy and experience only this company and Edy can give you.

Manolo and his team were amazing! We had amazing, authentic meals prepared by Rosalito. Primitivo was the sous chef (and also carried my backpack when I fell sick). And the entire team cared about our safety and happiness. Would recommend this tour to anyone looking for an authentic yet comfortable trek to Macchu Picchu. This trek was more accessible and less rigorous than the others, which made it appealing. Yet, we didn’t miss out on any views. Amazing experience— thanks to Manolo’s team for everything.

The Lares Trek with Manuolo was the best hiking and camping experience we could ask for!! Manuolo taught us so much about the history of the Incas and treated us to a once in a lifetime scenic, culinary, and glamping/camoing experience. He was extremely attentive to our needs and added many special touches like taking us to special spots at Machu Picchu and helping us be more comfortable while camping with heated water bottles (aka “baby alpacas”) and alpaca blankets. He never tired of taking photos of myself, my sister, and my dad on this trip and was enthusiastic and upbeat during the entirety of the 4 day trip. We can’t wait to recommend TreXperience and Manuolo to our friends!

Rosalio was our chef on the trip and he prepared some of the best Peruvian meals we’ve ever had (including those at restaurants in Lima and Cusco). Truly, the meals were multi-course and it was extremely impressive that he could prepare such elaborate meals like lomo saltado, quinoa crusted chicken, delicious soups to stay hydrated, fresh caught trout, and “welcome to Machu Picchu” cake. The meals were well thought out to help our bodies acclimate and the morning cups of coca tea, coffee, and hot cocoa were a great way to start the day.

Our horseman, Leandro, and our assistant chef, Primitivo, were also incredibly helpful in providing a 5 star experience for our trip. They brought us warm water to wash our hands and face every morning. Primitivo helped us get extra water and helped carry my sister’s daypack when she got dehydrated. Though we don’t speak much Spanish and they don’t speak much English, we could feel their care towards our wellbeing during the trip.

Overall this felt like a very authentic, sustainable trip experience, led by locals and focused on learning from local families and truly understanding the history of the region. Would highly recommend both the tour and our tour guides!

I completed the Lares trek as well as the Inca trail shorts. It was simply incredible, the Lares trek is definitely my favorite with its breathtaking landscapes, the chance to meet the people who live in the mountains. It was a cultural experience and a great physical accomplishment. The food was delicious and the staff very kind as well as our guide Manolo who greatly contributed to this magical trek

We did the Lares Trek to Macchu Picchu 4 days with TreXperience and it was an amazing experience. During the hike the emphasize was given on enjoying the time with no time pressure on reaching a given point, which allowed us to enjoy the views. Manolo also took the time to tell us a lot about the history of Peru and of the trek we walked specifically.
The food was plentiful and awesome for every meal, thanks again Orlando!
The preparation was smooth and simple.
Thanks to the TreXperience team!
