Tivemos uma excelente experiência fazendo a trilha Salkantay. O percurso é desafiador porém muito lindo. Fomos conduzidos pela TrexEperience com segurança e profissionalismo em sua equipe. Destaque importante ao nosso guia Juan de Dios uma pessoas bastante educada, atenciosa, com senso de responsabilidade e compromisso durante todo o percurso.

Roger was a great guide, spending time with us throughout the whole trip (including meals in camp and at restaurant last night). I particularly appreciate him because he helped me devise a plan to propose in Machu Pichu!

Roger the chef and Rosalio were amazing chefs. They were helpful around camp anytime we needed something, made special tea when my stomach was upset, and still made amazing food.

The tents we stayed in the first night were really nice. Like staying in a teepee. They made sure we stayed warm with plenty of blankets and a warm water bladder that truly made all of the difference for staying warm when everything was frosty outside.

Filio was our tour guide for the 4 days and 3 nights of this trek. He was the best tour guide we ever could have wished for on this challenging and fun journey. We are new to hiking and we felt so welcomed, reassured and safe. All the staff including the chef Esteban, the porter Tabucio and the horseman Ali were absolutely wonderful. The service was outstanding with such great attention to detail. Every meal was delicious and there was no issue catering for the several vegetarians in the group. Everything we could possibly need was readily provided and all information was given so clearly. We really felt part of the family and had an incredible time exploring the mountains and learning about Quechua and Peruvian culture. We ended with a tour in Machu Picchu and had plenty of time to explore the historic and wonderful sight. Filio is so highly knowledgeable about so many aspects of the tour including the medicinal use of the local plants, the mountains, the wildlife and the Inka culture. It was such a joy to learn from someone so passionate and enthusiastic about his home. I couldn’t recommend this tour with Filio highly enough and will tell all my friends about it!

Our Salkantay trek was an amazing experience, all down to the hard work of the chefs, porters and especially our guide Filio! We had delicious food everyday (which was well needed for all the walking) and Filio was very good at checking in that we were coping with the altitude and the hikes. He was also very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the Inca people and culture. Overall it was a fantastic trip!

The most incredible 4 days. Very difficult but our guide Filio was flawless. So encouraging, kind and helpful. The whole tour was so well organised and flowed seamlessly. The food was seriously yum too - Esteban and Tibulsio were so talented. Could not recommend using Filio and TreXperience enough!!! Thank you!!

Pepe and Yhon made this trek an experience that I will never forget. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the trail and were helpful every step of the way. The guides gave us their full attention and colorful personalities throughout our 4 days. My time in Peru wouldn’t have been complete without my hourlong walk down the railroad to Aguas Calientes with Pepe. While I expected the difficulty and beauty of the trek, I didn’t expect how well fed we would be. Our chef Senovio was the hero behind the scenes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner everyday.

Highly recommend the Salkantay Trek with Trexperience.

This trip was amazing from start to finish. Pepe and Yhon were not only great guides but had incredible knowledge of the history of the area too.

They kept us motivated up the steep hills to the breath taking views and woke us up every morning with hot tea. The chef also fed us very well and we left every meal with empty plates.

As a solo traveller I was put in a group with the very like minded people and they did very well at integrating all travellers together so we felt like one group from the beginning.

Thank you so much to both Pepe and Yhon for looking after us, teaching us about the Incas and Machu Picchu and the incredible memories!

The Salkantay trail was amaizing, the group was made very welcome and cared for by our guides Pepe and Yohn. Pepe is passionate about his country and has a vast wealth of knowledge on Inca culture and wildlife. A truly great guide!

The trip was a once in a lifetime experience that was unforgettable, trekking high through the Andes and then travelling down through the rainforest and finally ending at the famous Machu Picchu, thanks for the memories!

Machu picchu was the second best thing on this trip behind the sparkle of Pepe, Yhon and Sinovio’s eyes. The food was excellent and both of our guides (Pepe and Yhon) were wonderful, incredibly helpful as well as very kind. If only I was fitter for the hike.

At a loss for words. An unforgettable experience, to say the least. The guide, the porters, the chef and his helpers were all very attentive and helpful. The places we hiked through were spectacular and breathtaking.
