Our sushi making class at Cooking Sun was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan! Miki was an incredible teacher and clearly explained all the steps to making a beautiful meal with different types of sushi, miso soup and homemade dashi.
The studio was clean, bright and easy to find. We were lucky to have taken the class!

Wonderful course with good teachers who also told a lot about the history behind sushi and Japanese cooking. You get to learn how to cook everything from scratch and really recommend it to anyone who loves sushi.

We had a great time making a variety of sushi dishes. There were 9 people in the class and 2 hosts which was the perfect size.

Yuko, Aya, and Yuki were the best, and made this event very fun and informative. We made a delicious dinner consisting of seven different types of sushi (Miso soup, Tamagoyaki, Inari Age, Hosomaki, California Roll, Ebi Nigiri, Tamago Sushi, and 4-Piece Nigiri). I would definitely recommend adding this to your list of things to do in Tokyo.

When in Japan, what is a better experience to do than learn how to make sushi? This was a well worth 3 hour investment. Our teachers were patient, knowledgeable and passionate to teach. Absolutely enjoyed!
