Luis is the perfect tour guide. He is deeply knowledgeable and passionate about his city, having read a lot of background literature in addition to everything he's experienced as a native. Whether your interest is politics or culture, sports or history, Luis is sure to hold you in sophisticated and entertaining conversation. I even bought a souvenir related to one of the stories he told us at the gold museum.
He's more than just smart: he's a great person. Getting around Bogota in a wheelchair wasn't super easy. Thanks to Luis, though, I went 2000 meters up to the top of Monserrate and 200 meters down to the bottom of the Catedral de Sal. He worked harder than I ever could've asked him to so that we would have the adventures we dreamed of.
I know we're not the only ones to benefit from his kindness - be sure to meet the folks at markets and cafes he's cultivated relationships with. You'll eat fresh if you do!
We hope our paths cross with Luis's again. You cannot get a better tour guide - anywhere.

Luis Felipe took his time to explain and gave lots of details about the Guatavita Lake and the Salt Cathedral. He was always very flexible and friendly.
The car was also very comfortable and clean.

We had our first visit to Colombia and we wanted to spend our 12-hour layover with an overview of Bogota and specific locations we wanted to visit. Luis responded very quickly and accommodated all our requests with a customized itinerary. He was very early to pick us up at the airport, and we were in constant communication. He made sure that all our requests were met. He recommended a restaurant and coffee shop and they were both very good. He has a wealth of historical and current knowledge that he shared with us, and gave us a clear understanding of Bogotá’s rich history. He is very friendly and we felt like we were being toured by a friend. We didn’t feel like tourists, but rather friends. He is very professional and open. We felt safe and comfortable. We highly recommend his tour and service.

I am a proud Colombian that took her husband, parents-in-law and brother-in-law for the first time to Colombia 🇨🇴. I was so happy to have Felipe as our guide and his brother and sister-in-law drive us around the city. Felipe did an incredible job tailoring the tour to our needs. When we arrived in Bogota - we had a short list of what we wanted to do and Luis Felipe made sure we had an excellent tour - He is bright and knowledgeable about everything Colombia related - and has a full and deep knowledge of Bogota and the surrounding area - its history, the art and culture of Colombia and the city life, sports and cuisine. His English is excellent.
We gave Luis Felipe our bucket list for Bogota - Sunday Usaquen market, Botero Museum, La Candelaria and the street art murals - and Luis Felipe made it easy. His help in getting us to the most interesting and authentic parts of La Candelaria made all the difference in making the most of our time in the best part of Bogota.
We also had some unscheduled time as well and Luis Felipe understood what we liked and provided excellent suggestions and made them happen.
It’s so nice to have the flexibility that Luis Felipe provides - we were able to schedule in real time with Luis Felipe - so if for example - we’d finished early at a museum - he was ready to pick us up and on to the next sightseeing. If we wanted more time - he made sure we maximized our time touring this phenomenally beautiful and friendly city -

I thoroughly enjoyed the private ride with Luis. He drove me about 45 minutes from my airport hotel across town. He communicated with me beforehand effectively on WhatsApp, and he went in person when he picked me up as well as when he dropped me off. He was very personable and accommodating. The best thing about the experience was Luis’s extremely insightful conversation through the 45-minute ride. I am American, and Luis spoke to me in fluent English about a variety of things including his observations about Colombian culture. I can only imagine great things through his private tours as he provides so much knowledge about everything. It was a great investment over a simple taxi ride as Luis provided much more than just transportation.
